there is no news. It might not even happen. If it does I figure between the Buffalo shows and North Ontario show..(since they have a month off between shows)
Do not worry when it happens it willbe all over here, OLP.net, twitter. Facebook, Coalition, Myspace.
I was told there was a NY date but that could of been the Buffalo show.
Seriously though where would they play?
I say Beacon Theatre-It is agreat small theatre( about 2500 I think)
Radio City is too big for them. I doubt they sell it
Hammerstein is GA so not likely
I also say HOB in Atlantic City. OLP love playing HOB and this one could have VIP seats..
I feel love, I feel a power. It comes to me in the darkest hour. And I want to feel it again

After the amazing response from the Filmore @ Irving Plaza show back in July, it would truely shock me if they didn't do a NYC show. I think Irving Plaza would actually be the perfect venue for this show... it holds 1300. That is about the same as the Riviera in Buffalo. They could figure out somthing for the VIP in the balcony. I think the Beacon would be a little bit big and would make the ticket price too expensive. Hammerstein would be great too...it holds about 3500. I saw OLP on their spiritual machines tour play at irving plaza and it was amazing. Its a great intimate venue to see a show.

Niicee... reminds me a lot of the video DG made about a month ago!! ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xoFTcLvqko4 ) Did you guys have his video in mind at all when making that one?
Anyway, there weren't any Spiritual Machines songs in that advertisement

gonna have something cool for you guys to do with this promo video stuff - so stay tuned, I will have more details this week for you.
DG's video is cool , saw that a while back - this was actually started before that but was held up waiting on some specific footage....but i toyally dig the vibe of his though.
keep an eye out for more/different promo vids in the coming weeks - and don't forget to flood the web with them wherever and whenever you can

It still worries me that 4th row tickets are available. I posted over a month ago saying that I was worried because 3rd row tickets were still available for the SM show in Regina, and everyone told me not to worry and to wait it out, they'd sell.
But less than a row of tickets selling over the time span of a month? That worries me. I really really really don't want to see the Regina SM show get cancelled...so that again raises the question for me of whether or not a different, smaller venue may be considered if ticket sales don't pick up. Am I allowed to ask that question again yet?
And yes, I'm also miffed about the pooey presale. But...that's become par for the course.
Well, on the positive side, I can say that the Clumsy Ottawa show is completely sold out (there aren't even any single tickets left).
I already have mine, but wanted to check and see what was still available. There's nothing left! (not surprising considering that the venue seats fewer than 1000 people)

I also am upset about the crappy presale. Why "reward" your fans with worse seats than ones that can be bought months later?
Ticket allocations are very funny things. I believe it really takes a massive band to have enough bargaining power to get the truly best seats away from promoters, venue management, and ticketing agency (who all may or may not feed some of the best tickets directly to resellers).
The sad truth is, unless you are a band that any venue or promoter will bend over backwards to work with (such as Radiohead, U2, Nine Inch Nails), they're not going to hand over all the hottest tickets for you to distribute in your own fan presale. You'll get the last pick mediocre seats, with maybe a handful of good ones thrown in.
I generally don't recommend buying tickets on any bands' presales, unless it is Radiohead, a GA show, or something that will sell out extremely fast.

I just checked Winnipeg and thank goodness Clumsy is almost looking like its sold out. There is still room on the floor for SM though, however its 17 rows back so people might of been picking the 2 balcony for a better view or the 3rd for lower price tickets. I wonder how the VIPs are going?
