Hey folks - may as well introduce myself here, I'm Nikki's boyfriend that moved in with her a few months back. So, erm, hello!
Was curious if anyone here knows what font was used on the cover of Burn Burn? A search didn't turn up anything, and I see "clumsymonkey.net" is up top in a similar font.
Any halp?

Hey there, Matt knows. He told me the name once but I forgot. So is Nikki totally freaking out about this tour or what?

It looks a lot like Baskerville, but with its tracking adjusted. I can't be sure though.

Adobe Caslon Pro is what I use for the Burn Burn font.
The font on the t-shirts and merch website is Base 05.

Nikki has been alright, but sick for a few weeks now. She's getting better, though. Still working on getting things situated, etc.
She seemed to be quite happy when I told her (yes, I had to tell her - that's how often she's been online lately!) about the upcoming tour.
I'm putting something together for her for Christmas present and needed the font for this - thanks for all your help and suggestions, guys.

I'm honestly not quite sure yet. I believe I saw there will be a few select US dates? She said hopefully they'll hit New York, at least, although I see no US dates yet. We'll see.

You stole Nikki from us! Tsk tsk.
Ahh, good to hear she's well. I was actually thinking of her the other day.

Caslon was the closest I could find. What is the real font?

Reading the name, I never would have expected that to be the font.

Oh yeah, I do remember using font finder to discover that originally. It's a pay font so I had to use Adobe Caslon Pro as the next closest thing.

Hmm, ok apparently I do have it and that is what I have been using all along. Too many fonts. I'm actually suprised Nikki doesn't have it. Half of mine I got from her.

Well, at certain points throughout the year I have several projects going at one time, and I often forget which font I use for what project, and sometimes mix them. In this case, I had used Caslon for a Street Sweeper Social Club DVD I finished a while back. It's similar in style. However, yes, they do come in handy.

Heh, nah - we actually met on another band messageboard, I'm still an OLP n00b. However, after seeing them four times since July it was kind of natural that I started to get into them. Super nice guys, at that.
Her OLP collection is... intimidating.
