I just have to say, as cool as the Burton Cummings Theatre sounds...

It looks like the skeeviest place ever in person. (From the outside, that is. Never been inside.)

Hmmm...wonder what the reason behind the Clumsy show being all ages and SM being 16 and over?

I could see the Burton Cummings theatre from my hotel room this summer!

That's my story.

Probably specifically to spite some 15 year old whose favorite album ever is Spiritual Machines.

Well, plans have been made and this is the show (s) I will be at. Just working out the details with a couple people now.

The BC theatre is nicer inside than it is on the outside, but I suppose that could be said about a lot of places in Winnipeg.

Here are some pictures of the theatre inside...

I love big old historic buildings so I am happy with this choice, although I have a fear of heights and the 3rd balcony (view from the gods) scares me!

Wow! That one looks just like Ford Theater (where Lincoln was assassinated)

Holy shit. We just spent $622 canadian... for Four tickets to Clumsy, 3 Tickets to Spiritual Machines, and 1 VIP tickets to Spiritual Machines for me.

Holy Fuck. I never thought OLP would cost this much.

Now gas money for a 6 hour drive and a hotel room... :freak:

I'll go apeshit if they have better seats tomorrow.

But I am pleased with what we got.

Section K Row 12 for Clumsy

Section G Row 2 for Spiritual Machines.

I just got my Clumsy tickets, they seem to be the most popular at the moment so I wanted to get them squared away.

BTW - you took my Clumsy seats! lol I was checking into where the best seats were and it was Section K Row 12, but then I had to do something. When I went back in to purchase them they were gone! I'm now in Section L Row 10.

So DG, with those skills of yours can I expect some awesome videos from this show? I would love to have something like that from this tour but sadly I have no skills myself.

I would love to but I don't know if I'd be allowed to record the show.

If we're not allowed to record, I'll try to sneak a lot. But I would love to get permission to film it, if so.

I think you only problem will be with the venue itself - not sure what the policy is there.

I was given 2 tickets to SM night today! They aren't the best you can get - but hey, they were given to me as a birthday present.
