EVERYONE LISTEN UP !!! YES, THAT MEANS YOU!
Your guys' memories of concerts will never cease to amaze me. I applaud you all.
I think it'd be more risky to do SM live, for obvious reasons, but I'd prefer to hear it performed over Clumsy. I mean, hey, I'll be pumped for either, but SM is my favourite album, and Clumsy is very hit-and-miss. I don't have any strong desire to hear Big Dumb Rocket or Hello Oskar live.

I'm with Matt. It would be so out-of-place to hear Oskar live from the new OLP but OH MAN would it ever be awesome. I'd die when Steve starts off with the first solo lick. I'd also be very interested to see if Raine uses a gritty voice with the lyrics or not. I can't picture anyone singing Oskar with a clean, mainstream voice... it wouldn't be right.

That's what I'm really hoping comes out of this. I'm pretty sure that Raine has said that he doesn't listen to their previous albums, so maybe revisiting one of these absolutely brilliant pieces of art might be all we need to get OLP back on the right track...
Of course, I should probably know better then to be getting my hopes up.

The thing is, the latter half of Clumsy is really not the type of music for easy listening. The songs are amazing, but I'm not sure how the band will interpret them today. SM's song's are a lot more approachable from a general music sense (they're more melodic), so I think if they do get any inspiration it will be from SM. I'm kinda worried that if they look back on the latter half of Clumsy they'll feel "embarrassed" about some of those great songs. In recent interviews you will often hear Raine say "we've had songs we regret and don't like anymore from all albums, even Clumsy".

OMFG......OMFG
I love that he said "in their entirety" too, that really CEMENTS the FACT that we're going to HEAR The Wonderful Future, Car Crash, Carnival, and Hello Oskar LIVE!!!!!!!!! In 2009/2010!!
Wow. Just... wow. I never thought I'd get to go to a SM or Clumsy tour. But I just have to find a way to get to one of these concerts. I still can't believe they're doing this, it's so awesome.

Since them coming to WV is out of the question (since they've never played here), I'm really hoping at least of these shows is in Ohio!

TOTALLY! Do we know their schedule for this tour yet or are you just assuming they'll be there?

Just assuming. I can't see them not playing here, though.

It is only for Canada as of now. TOmorrow those dates will be announced. USA will be afterwards. Whether they do the same thing is another story..
I was joking with someone last night that Raine really needs to learn the older songs have not been done since 97 or 98..
His Tweet confirmed that all the way..

All I have to say is that one of the full record concerts better be happening somewhere in Southern Ontario or asses will be kicked!!!!!!!!
“Music doesn’t have the power to change the world. What music does is it changes people, & that changes the world, so to say that music doesn’t change people anymore is just ridiculous. It does everyday. It doesn’t have to be on a political or social level. You could be feeling shitty & it makes you happy & if that’s all it does, it’s changing the world. It’s making it a better place.” ~ Raine Maida

I haven't heard it live so I wouldn't know.
Check your PMs!
Thank you, Matt! I checked it out, and I actually prefer that live version over the album version. There's more energy and gumption.
I'm trippin' over this Tweet from Raine! I'm so excited! I can't believe this is happening! Best first OLP tour EVER!
