EVERYONE LISTEN UP !!! YES, THAT MEANS YOU!
They played Car Crash on the '06 tour, a lot. They can do it without the extra guitar, as it's mostly just for ambient noise. Happiness and Spiritual Machines have the most layered audio of all the albums. I think it would be interesting to hear them interpret them as a 4 piece.

Indeed, I'd rather hear one of the more difficult albums in large part to see how they would adapt it for their current lineup. I don't want to just hear Burn Burn the way it sounded on the CD. I'd like the live version to bring something new to it, and I think this would be an interesting way to do that.

So wait, are you wanting them to do an older album or Burn Burn? Or both?

Yeah -- also on the Clumsy tour they were a 4 piece, and Steve's been doing a fine job on his own this tour.

For those keeping score
1994-1998 were a four piece live
1999-2001 Jamie Edwards played keys and additional guitar. He also played on the Happiness, Spiritual Machines and Gravity CD's.
2002 -early 03'-Mike Einstein played some keys and additional Guitar on live tour
2003-( Summer and early fall) Went back to 4 piece for the 3 Doors Down Tour. Raine played alot of electric guitar then. More then usual.
2004( the one show) was stilla four piece
2005-2006 Joel Shearer was the added guitar player. He also played and recorded a majority of guitar parts on Healthy
2009 4 piece live and in studio
As for cd's.. On previous tours of the current cd they played a majority of the cd. This will be interesting to see if pulled off.
I can see them doing saying Naveed one night, Spiritual One night and Happiness and CLumsy mixed into one night.. We will see.

Sorry, older album, because it'll force them to play the songs in different, hopefully-interesting ways. Burn Burn was just four guys in a room, as you may have heard, so it'd be easy for them to play that one. I like challenge!

So wow. This is so exciting.
OMG Shanan> i feel like such an idiot. I couldn't figure out what that meant. My brain is diffinitely fried in my old age. LOL..
I thought he was getting all New Age on us again. LOL.
Strong Alibi wrote:Wow!! Sweet find Shanae, this has got me exxxcited indeed! Either one of those two choices is EXCELLENT!
I know that isn't really Raine who wrote that though (probably Trusty with his crazy code language lol)
No it is Raine. . He does tweet his own tweets. When said something to him he said it was good for him.
Trusy has his own tweet account.
Raine's facebook( private one is him-which he does not go on since he tweets now) and Myspace are fan or management run.

Strong Alibi wrote:MOL, how far are you willing to travel before you just say to hell with it any wait for Youtube videos? I don't know if I'd travel across the country but I'd say I almost would.
SA some people do what ever is necessary to see the band.
I know they said they will be back in USA. Whether they do the same type of tour. Iam looking forward to the Canada tour. Hopefully can catch them somewhere i never been before.
MOL a word of advice. if you can swing it. Afford it and it does not interfere with your life then do it. It is an experience. Not cause you are seeing OLP but because you are seeing some place new.
I have met alot of wonderful people and been to some beautiful places from seeing OLP out of my little neck of the woods.

You know, if you came to Saskatchewan, we're around the same age...
Just kidding. Internet pplz are baaaad!
I would be one of the people that went to great lengths to see a band, but sadly am not able to do that. In good time, I will. My one friend is going to follow Marianas Trench on their next tour from Manitoba all the way to BC, hitting every show.
