Harsh, Codes, but I don't necessarily disagree... I dunno... if OLP were just starting out now and were pushing music videos like this, would anyone here really be interested? It doesn't come across as being creative or unique in any way

I don't care if it's harsh or not, its my full opinion. I like the new cd, it has a few great songs, but they are picking terrible singles, and making horrible videos lately, I know trustworthy your close to the band, and you would take some offense to some of the negative views, but god damn it man this is just pathetic

to be honest, i dont watch music videos at all...i made sure to watch this one cause its olp and just came out but i probably will never watch it again...

do music videos really help promote the band and their music?

i would say not likely...radio airplay is a million times more important to get noticed

music is just that...music...why put it to video?
Is there something good, something more?
Is there anything worth dying for?

I like the end of the video. Them jumping off the roof and the closing song title. Hate almost everything else except the blonde lead.

The guy lead looks like he's trying way to hard to be acting. Way too exaggerated, just annoying me.

The subtitles suck. I could understand having one or two to share the story with the audience. But no reason to have constant subtitles thru out the whole video. Very distracting.

I am in the minority here but I love the song

"Promote" is not what music videos are for. They're supposed to add to the music, help you enjoy it at a different level. Take Radiohead's "Just" video for example (which was just posted here)... that video makes me enjoy the song all the much better. Brilliant usage of subtitles there.

Don't like the subtitle, don't like the ending, don't like the cheesy song title fade in.

The Right Stuff I believe did that wonderfully for me. Never a big fan of the song until the music video. It added this weird dimension to it. That's what I love OLP for.

The Right Stuff as the next single if we're going for a more mainstream song. Now that thing will get air play. Thing is catchy as hell.

Wait, wait... there are stations on the Television that still play music videos? Like play them all the way through instead of the TRL 30 seconds followed by a 15 year old girl screaming about how hot she thinks Justin Timberlake is followed by her shoutout to her best friend's cousin's neighbor? 8O
“Music doesn’t have the power to change the world. What music does is it changes people, & that changes the world, so to say that music doesn’t change people anymore is just ridiculous. It does everyday. It doesn’t have to be on a political or social level. You could be feeling shitty & it makes you happy & if that’s all it does, it’s changing the world. It’s making it a better place.” ~ Raine Maida

Fuse is still mainly about music videos. Probably since it's not apart of cable.

But really, television is irrelevant to the situation. Music videos are still popular, and IMO important, although they're now mostly accessed through Youtube and other online means.

The only good thing about that video is Duncan's chops.

Did anyone else think at first that the non-band part was going to turn out to be ironic?
You've got this really melodramatic couple of good-looking people on a rooftop, dressed completely over-the-top (flowing white dress? what?) and yelling at eachother. I thought it the camera was going to pull back to show us it was actually a movie shoot or something.

I like music videos, and I always liked OLP's videos, crazy clown dolls and all!

I also agree that The Right Stuff video actually added something to make me like the song better, which struck me as odd because I really didn't think videos had that kind of effect on me.

This is not my favorite video, but it is what it is, a music video - it doesn't really change my opinion about the song, album or band.

I miss music stations playing music videos!
