That's actually what I meant. I'm very tired, okay? My cat decided to meow outside of my window this morning, apparently in heat...

Well, actually just three. But another is needed since AYD has done pretty much nothing in the US. And usually it's a smart idea to release another single once the first one has done decently well for a reasonable amount of time, so that you have another single rising while the other one falls.

Yes! Another single is needed now! Hopefully it will be something our radio station will play! They currently play AYD very little and only first thing in the morning...they play the old stuff the rest of the day and evening...not sure what that says about AYD but its the rock station. I should switch to the pop station and see what's going on there!

Has anyone heard Matt Good's new single, Last Parade? I love it. A bunch of his demos are on Youtube for his new album (Vancouver). Sounds incredible.

I've heard it! I love it. There is a thread for Matt somewhere in the general music section but suprisingly there isn't a lot of discussion going on about it. I saw him in concert for the first time last Fall in Buffalo and I'm looking forward to a new tour. I'd like to see him again.

Guys it's official "The End Is Where We Begin" is the 2nd single :( ....from Raine Twitter:
"no shows this week. preppin for a video shoot."the end is where we begin" video's are a drag!!! videos are a drag!!!videos are a drag!!!"

I like this song But...Why OLP don't understand that TEIWWB is another AYD? In past, Mr.T told that Monkey Brains was the 2nd single....I'm really sad :(

I agree, its almost too forgettable! I like the song but it wouldn't be my first choice (or second) for a single.

I wonder how many singles they will choose from this album.

I would hope five. Monkey Brains, Paper Moon, and Escape Artist. They talked so much about how important and powerful Escape Artist is and it was supposed to be the title of the CD.

I just hope that they know what they are doing as far as picking singles and timing...because I definetly am not an expert. Its just been getting harder and harder to convince people of their awesomeness - and I live somewhere that they were considered gods for the longest time! Ok, maybe "gods" is overdoing it, but you get what I mean!

Or maybe you saying this is just a big ploy to throw us all off track...making us question Raine's Tweets!

All very good choices!

I think Paper Moon will really be the biggest hit...and I think (gulp...I've been jumped all over for saying this before) that it almost has that Clumsy era written all over it.

This is why I made the comment about timing though, I'm not sure when its best to put out your strongest song (or the one that will be the biggest hit, because those are usually two different things.)

I'm not surprised. And I won't be surprised when it fails. I don't really see anything being all too successful besides Paper Moon, which could play to both rock and pop stations.

I think Paper Moon would do well, too, but Monkey Brains is, like as before stated, a wise choice -- "Our Lady Peace still makes music? And this is a rock song?" Etc.

Nobody knows that OLP is even going still, it seems.

Agreed, I have no idea if Monkey Brains would be widely successful...but I do think it will get people's attention again. It'll make people stop and go "Who is this? Oh, OLP, I used to like them."

I still predict that Paper Moon would do the best if released as a single.

It's possible that Paper Moon might be released, as OLP just had this on their FaceBook:

"Download OLP's single "Paper Moon" for FREE with iTunes Canada's new Facebook application!!"
