Judging by M. Night's previous two efforts, my hopes aren't high.

i'm a bit cynical myself. but he's got good source material this time, and if all else fails, i'll just stick to the tv show and pretend the movie never happened.

So I'm watching I, Robot for the first time on FX right now (which the cast was required to read The Age of Spiritual Machines before filming), and wow does this movie just make me think of All My Friends. Especially the part with the robot drawing the man "standing alone on a hill."

Weird, I don't remember that part. I didn't know that about the book though! Cool.

I think they were asked to, not required.
Can anyone really picture Shia reading that thing?

Control
For those unfamiliar, "Control" is about Ian Curtis, the lead singer of Joy Division.

Paranormal Activity.

I was basically doing a full body flex the whole time, as you're in anticipation of what's going to happen the entire time.

I always thought the trailer park boys were seriously over rated and not funny.

Your right, and the whole jellyfish thing would of been more interesting if the movie was more interesting.

A lot of sources will tell you that the box or wasp jellyfish is one of the most deadly animals in the world. Over the past 100 years, it's caused more than 5,567 human fatalities.

If that's not enough, there is one type of jellyfish that is the only known creature to be immortal and can revert back to an immature sexual state indefinitely.

Saw VI (for free -- last time we went to the movies Kym found re-admission passes tossed on the floor). Then, Paranormal Activity (also for free -- once you're in... you know).

Saw VI doesn't really live up to standards, but it was super easy to follow -- some of the previous ones were confusing on first watch. Paranormal Activity was totally great. The people who made it are very good at making a lot from a little (in more ways than one -- $$$$$$).

^I'm going to suggest not seeing The Stepfather. Probably one of the least scary movie's I've ever seen. It's not comicly bad or anything, it's just not scary at all.
