He also said that he really likes Spiritual Machines and the band knows how much people love it, and that they're trying to get a couple more of it's songs in the set.

If I am not mistaken the SM tour( 01') was the first time he saw OLP live. HOB in LA I believe. This was not in any interview. It was from a conversation I had with him the first time I met him. Which is pretty damn funny cause he joined the band a year later..

I feel love, I feel a power. It comes to me in the darkest hour. And I want to feel it again

I can't imagine being Steve. I would have died getting that opportunity lol. But now in 2009, I would be FORCING Raine to play the older songs

Sleeping In, Tear Drop, Drive, Mona Lisa, eternal Life, Fake Plastic trees...and much more that we haven't heard because they didn't release them or played them live!!!

...And why not releasing an outstanding copy of the demos as well? :)

I agree with this. An album with nothing but unreleased songs would be nice.

Where the hell is Trustworthy anyway? He said he wouldn't leave after Burn Burn was released. Seems like he is MIA.

Technically they aren't B-Sides since they weren't with singles or bonus tracks, but yes- UNRELEASED SONGS ARE A MUST.

We've heard some of them as demos and others live (and there's even more we haven't heard), and a lot of these unreleased songs are too good to just be collecting dust in the OLP bunker.

Yeah, Jer wasn't for it plus when we talked to Duncan in Tornto after the show he said they couldn't find some of the stuff and some of the really old stuff was recorded on dinosaur equipment and they don't have the appropriate stuff to transfer it, at least not right now.
“Music doesn’t have the power to change the world. What music does is it changes people, & that changes the world, so to say that music doesn’t change people anymore is just ridiculous. It does everyday. It doesn’t have to be on a political or social level. You could be feeling shitty & it makes you happy & if that’s all it does, it’s changing the world. It’s making it a better place.” ~ Raine Maida

You know what would be cool? It might not be the "coolest damn thing" but I'd like to see a DVD with their entire collection of music videos to date. Including the multiple versions they made for some songs.

I don't know much, but I don't think it'd be too hard for them to get the equipment to transfer it if they wanted to.

I came back to check this thread to see if any news on b-sides had surfaced. Obviously not.

I haven't even listened to Burn, Burn in a month. :(

I still listen to it at least once a day. Or, on good days (like today), five times! :)

It still hasn't gotten old for me at all. If anything, it's getting better with every listen.

I agree. I think it get's better the more you listen to it. The only song I can't really get into is Refuge. I don't dislike it, it's just my least favorite.

I dig Refuge, it's actually one of my faves. The songs I usually skip now are Dreamland (sometimes) and White Flags (all of the time). I just feel that they weren't recorded to their full potential, even if their full potential was just to be good mainstream-type songs. I also find myself skipping Monkey Brains sometimes now, not sure why exactly.

CD box set!!

I want every song...including some B sides in a nice little package and I don't want to wait 20 years after they are no longer making music to get it!
