How about now that they are on the road there is a blog or diary from one of the guys telling us how things are going.. That would be cool .

oh and a showcase show in NY.. Even better :)

Like I've Been Saying Trustworthy, A Minnesota show.

Anywhere here, The Minnesota State Fair (Hell, it's in August, aren't they touring the US in August?), The Myth Nightclub, First Avenue ...

You know what? I'll help you out Trustworthy, Give OLP the links for the state fair here, all the information (that I could find) about booking:

I just want to see them again and not have to drive 8 hours to Chicago.

Good call. I'd appreciate it if the OLP show I'm going to in a few weeks wasn't the same as the 10 shows before it.

They have a SEVEN ALBUM CATALOGUE. They've released 83 studio songs at this point (this doesn't count their demo songs), not to mention some bands even play unreleased songs years after they originate. They have tons of room to switch it up, instead of just playing every popular single and a few songs off *insert whatever album they're promoting at the time.*

I don't think they know we exist. They think the fans at those concerts are just people who want to hear the singles. But I'd have thought Trustworthy would have made it clear to them by now.

I'm really hoping my show ends up being one of those special shows on the Healthy tour, where songs like Car Crash, Waited, and Potato Girl made surprise appearances.

Those were fairly regular through the late 2005, mid 2006 tours.

Then I'm definitely hoping for something like those shows, instead of the boring single-fests being served up lately.

Hell, Supersatellite popped up last year. Start doing that more, boys.

Dream setlist:

The Birdman
Stealing Babies
Superman's Dead
Car Crash
Everyone's A Junkie
All For You
Dreamland
Will The Future Blame Us?
Neon Crossing
Automatic Flowers
One Man Army
Somewhere Out There (A must for the crowd)
Clumsy
Escape Artist

Encore:

In Repair
Angels/Losing/Sleep
Starseed

At least TRY to mix it up. Not just 1 song we all haven't heard in a while with the same damn set list since 2005

All those are possible except Everyone's a Junkie... although I doubt Stealing Babies will ever see the light of day again

I agree with you guys.

I tend to yawn at OLP shows with the same set list. Plus, I don't really look forward to see OLP with the history of them playing the same set list night after night.

For instance, I'll be going to the Boston show on August 18th, 2009. I don't want to go to the show feeling they'll play the same songs they did the previous night in Washingon D.C. ...it's just not as exciting!!
