anything else u guys can think of? I'm a decent geetar player, our drummer can handle anything, our bassist is...ok and our singer's fine so yeah!

we might have to lower it a bit on the "it's more that i can bear parts but i love it. Jake (our bassist) should be able to play it if i can play it upside down with my eyes closed! And I don't even play bass! I was also thinking...

It still should be mostly up to the singer/vocalist, IMO.

That's a tough decision for OLP songs. If your singer doesn't have the right kind of voice for a certain song, he may not be able to pull it off. I would suggest something off Naveed, so that he may not have to try too hard on the falsetto while still being able to really get into it, along with everyone else getting to jam out.

I didn't mean with imitating, just pulling off the notes. The singer would have his own style, of course.

There's no reason your singer has to sing like Raine either, or that your band has to play the song the same way OLP does.

Ok? The song you perform will only be as good as the vocalist makes it. Obviously the entire band should have input, but when it comes down to it, the front man is the one who makes the decisions and who will make or break the song.
If you pick a song that the singer can't sing, then what's the point?
