It will be tough to figure out. The torrent is dead slow right now. I haven't gotten past 0.1% in the five attempts to download it and nobody has left a comment about it. Hopefully we'll find out soon and some people will start seeding it. Again, I'm sure it's a fake. I doubt it's out if the band is protecting it which i'm sure they are. Don't get your hopes up.

There's a file in the torrent that is labeled "playback instructions" or something like that. That hints that it's fake.

Seeing as the info already popped in on my download that White Flags is a Van Halen track, I'm pretty sure this is a fake. Save your excitement folks.

It will be leaked for sure. But Placebo did this exact same thing for their latest album. You're going to see the torrent sites flooded with low quality leaks. Nothing close to a 128kb rip. Sound quality will be lacking. It actually worked pretty good from Placebo's end because the album was so good everyone decided to go out and buy. For the most part. Once the album was officially released the torrent sites came up with better quality rips.

From my standpoint it has to leak because that's the only way us folk down the US are going to hear this album. We've never had access to Sypatico's releases. So let it leak.

Trusty, ask the band why the people from the states always get boned on these special events. I think you should arrange a listening party for .Net. You would be the man if you can pull that off. Show some love for the USA diehards or I'm stealing this album fair and square.

When we in Canada can watch Hulu or NBC online then you can watch OLP!

That would be a good point Riley, but it's actually the Canadian-based CRTC that prevents Hulu and NBC from streaming their videos to Canadians. Hulu would stream to Canadians if they could.

Basically, CRTC "protects" the rights of crappy Canadian networks that air US shows, like CTV and Global, even if those networks don't want to or don't have the rights to stream these shows online.

Its actually the hundreds of millions of dollars that Canadian TV stations like CTV and Global overpay for TV shows like Heroes, House, ect... so CTV and Global have the rights to re-broadcast these shows in Canada, therefore Hulu would have to make a deal with them. Seeing how much money the stations pay for the shows I doubt the Canadian rights would be worth it for Hulu. and both companies already have their own web streaming sites, which all kinda suck compared to Hulu.

Yeah, which is even worse... Canadian TV networks are so useless. We get both NBC and CTV on our cable, yet they both show the exact same shows (at the same time, no less, for simsubbing). Nobody cares about CTV except themselves. They don't even provide any local news in my entire province, yet I'm forced to watch them through simsubbing.
