Burn Burn Leaked?

A) I've been wondering if diditleak would even acknowledge OLP on their site.

B) I've been following posts on The Leak for a bit.

Yes but in this way OLP can denounce the people that have Burn Burn for the review, because who can leaked Burn Burn? The people of the review and in this way we enter in copyright question...i wait development, but for me OLP CAN'T IS LEAKED :lol:

The reviewers could leak it easily. Every album leaks at some point, so I doubt they would be threatened with copywrite. Obviously the band would be disappointed if it leaked early, but I doubt they go to the extent of suing someone.

Because that's definitely what I was saying? I'm saying that someone involved with the press/media could leak it. The album leaking has absolutely nothing to do with this board, so I'm kind of failing to see your point.

aside from the fact there is actually someone from the media that recently joined this board.

I could be wrong, but unless the band sent something recently, they still just have a 4-song sampler (AYDWSML, Dreamland, Paper Moon, and I'm assuming Monkey Brains). Which also makes a bit ridiculous to post an "album review" when Susan Marie has heard less than half of the album.

But I doubt they'd leak it since they're "trying to help out an indie band." Although I'm sure they'd be more than happy to leak it as long as they got credit for the leak.

Sooo have any of you guys actually seen a press review cd or dvd?

My friend gets some of them all the time because he used to do a movie review radio show thing. Its actually mega cool the amount of security on these things. They have individual id numbers, and sometimes the video will be altered to have the production company logo in the corner the whole time, or cut to black and white every 5 minutes so that its really annoying for regular folks to watch. And there are some that self-destruct. no lie. They turn blue and you can't watch them anymore after 5 watches or something. It's sick.

I actually purchased a no return 'rental' of Sweeny Todd from Staples for 99 cents.
It was packaged in an air tight piece of plastic wrap so that when you opened it, the air activated some sort of chemical on the DVD that degraded it away after 5 days.

Of course it went straight to my DVD ripper and my archive copy used for educational purposes only has worked fine ever since.

I wouldn't listen to the leak anyways. I want to wait to hear it on my CD player!

One of the CDs I was really looking forward to was available for play on muchmusic.com, and I refused to listen. I got the CD, and didn't have time to listen to the whole CD. So worth waiting for.

When it leaks, I pretty much plan on listening to Monkey Brains, Dreamland, and maybe Escape Artist. I'll save the rest for when I take that first listen through.

fyi - only watermarks are out there - 4 songs and you guys already have two of them...so im sure another will come to light soon

but like i said the full record is locked deep in the OLP vaults

and it's gonna fu%&ing stay there until.......

my point is that i have media credentials. which matt was also adding speculation about since he knows me better.
