Waiting to Exist wrote:That's almost when I stopped watching. After season five, things got a little too lame for me. But season one is TV genius!
I think the show is funnier in its early years, for sure, but remember, season nine and ten have Paul Rudd. Mmm. Paul Rudd.
Chandler's not as funny in the later seasons, unfortunately. Man I love Chandler.
That's true, I haven't given those last years a look since before I fell in love with Mr. Rudd. So fair enough, I should check them out again if only for him.
But yeah, Chandler is sort of my quality meter for the series. "Is Chandler funny in this episode, or just pathetically emasculated? Funny? Must be an early season!" Too bad, he's my favorite.
I just wanna get out,
Stuck inside of this.
Waiting for something else,
In the special features, Lise Kudrow is talking about how happy she was to work with Paul Rudd, and that Phoebe ended up with Mike. "It's good for her. He's a normal guy, plus... he's cute!"
I agree about the Chandler thing. I love when they make it seem like Joey and Chandler are a couple.
"Alright, if you're not an ex-husband or a lesbian life partner, please leave the room!"
Chandler: "Do you have to be Carol's lesbian life partner?"
It was there for about 5 minutes. Then it was taken down. It looked like the same clip of Refuge, but it was actually later in the song and Raine was singing.

I think I actually figured this out the other day - they were going to use "The End Is Where We Begin" but decided on "Refuge" instead... if you look close you can see the blacked-out word is "Begin".
