Burn Burn: The Reviews

Post by MindsOnLoan »

I always find professional reviews interesting, whether I agree with them or not. So I figured if anyone wants to post them, instead of having a few different threads for reviews, we can just post them in here I guess.

I'll start it off with a review from melodic.net. They obviously have the original copy with The Right Stuff instead of The End Is Where We Begin though. They gave Burn Burn 4.5/5 stars. Previous reviews by them gave Happiness 3.5/5, Spiritual Machines 4/5, Gravity 3.5/5, and Healthy 3/5.

Cool beans.

Glad to hear a bit more about the unknown songs. I have a good feeling about Never Get Over You. Even the first 30 seconds are catchy.

Yes, we all don't want another Somewhere Out There, but I would love another Thief! Slow and gentle can be ok, but I wasn't too sure about him calling it an ballad.

I am super pumped about White Flags though. It's a solid rock song. Nothing too risky, but it's got great energy.

I really want them to release 4 or more singles from this album. Why not?

Happiness... rated the same as Gravity and (almost) Healthy?

The album will be better rated 3 or 4 months down the road, at least by fans. When HIPT came out, most people on here were loving it.

I listened to Gravity yesterday, and didn't hate it. I liked it. Quite a bit, actually. I surprised myself.

I will kill you all. Each and every one of you, and not even feel bad about it.

Goodbye you liar,
Well you sipped from the cup but you don't own up to anything
Then you think you will inspire
Take apart your head
(and I wish I could inspire)
Take apart your demons, then you add it to the list.

But... but... but...

I scratch and bite. So watch it, bitch. Let's just hope you're not smart enough to try to kill me with a weapon...

Sidenote: I love reading music reviews. Professional reviews are far more interesting, but the half-assed wannabe blog is cool enough every once in a while. I sit around and read reviews. And they say I'm a loser...
