Traveling to Malaysia and Thailand

i'm going to be visiting Malaysia and making my way up to Thailand in July. I plan on buying a motorcycle there and biking to Phutek. Any helpful tips?

no helpful tips, (except talk to a doctor to find out if you need any immunizations you might need before going) but that's awesome. my cousin bought a moped and used it to get around thailand when he visited.

the only helpful tip i have is know how to ride your bike, if you're not a rider, don't think you're going to pick it up and everything will be good to go.

So I'm back, it was epic. I've already seen the TG Vietnam special. I went from Kuala Lumpur up the peninsula hitting the Cameron Highlands, Kota Bahru and the Belum Forest then headed Phuket (all on a bike), two hour boat ride to Koh Samui then back to Phuket and a flight to Bali then Jakarta.

Lots of stories to share once I overcome the 12 hour jet lag.
