A) You get royalties B) Your serving to a large fucking market, most of which are probably oblivious to the fact that this band exists. This will lead to a greater push of cds past and present
I think Starseed would be the most kickass song on Rockband or GH ever.

W/O that I think the record may have sold better. But the pop acts surge that was mentioned also certainly had a grand effect on SM and all other rock. And like others have said, unfortunately I think it was SM's commercial failure that lead them to Gravity and Bob Rock. And I still can't understand why Raine has said so many negative things about Emtee since he left the band.
What exactly has Raine said about Mike? I only remember the one comment about Raine saying that Mike will be successful but "not with a six-stringed instrument" or something to that effect.
Something about this lady's interviewing style is really bugging me. I dunno. I wish she asked a few more questions beyond, "Isn't this thing you said once so true?" and then Raine repeats/elaborates on that thing...
But Raine is still cool on it.
I just wanna get out,
Stuck inside of this.
Waiting for something else,

I remember another comment, I think on an old MOD episode, where he says that now that Steve is in the band, they can finally go places, and that Mike wasn't forceful and his playing style didn't call for much attention.
*finally tries to catch up on the CM* This place is once again really hard to catch up on when you haven't read it for weeks! Nice to see the activity back, but agh!!!
Anyway, this song's fantastic. So SO great to hear Steve shine on record the way he does on stage. Go Stever!!!

God I was thinking the same thing the ENTIRE interview. If I hadn't been buffing my nails and needing something to listen to while doing it, I would've shut it off after the first few minutes. Good lord that was... boring.

The dumb thing about that interview is that it was later written as an article, in which that interviewer praised the album. Then in a comments section I asked how the other songs were on the album (because she only talked about 3 of them), and she said that all she had was a 4 track promotional version of the album.
Awesome album review. Too bad it wasn't a review of an album.
