I wonder if any of these songs are going to have a slower, softer feel to them. Sometimes it didn't really work (Apology), and other times it was phenomenal (Thief, 4AM).

As do I. I've always felt it was a very underrated song. It has a really catchy chorus as well. I love the backing vocals.

It was not a bad song by any stretch. It just felt too overproduced, and lacked any punch (again, in my opinion). There's no way you can say the same for Thief or 4AM, that's for sure.

I don't think any OLP song has ever been bad. The only one I never listen to is Let You Down. I love the verses, but I really don't like the chorus.

Yeah, even the worst of OLP songs have some type of appeal to them at some point. The only thing I can't really stand is the end of A Story About a Girl and quite a portion of AYDWSML.

With Healthy, I hear great songs that didn't reach their potential.

I don't actually dislike any OLP song, I like them all. It varies how much I love each particular song but Apology was one of the last songs off HIPT which I get listening to after the brand newness of the album faded away. I liked the simplicity of the song.

Anyway I hope this new song fits in with the tone we've heard from Monkey Brains and Paper Moon - hopefully it's more in that vein than AYDWSML.

always found apology as a perfect love song, sorta lullaby-ish.

only songs i could never get into were don't stop and shaking, apart from that i find all olp songs enjoyable at the very least.

on topic however; if that is the new tracklist, i think paper moon would be an ideal closer.
