I think Gravity's pretty great, but just not up to standards for the creative genius we know OLP to be. I think HIPT tried way too hard to get back to that creativity, and failed miserably because of it. I look forward greatly to Burn Burn, but I do wish Raine could sing in his falsetto, that would make the album A+ in my book no matter what.

in his interview yesterday, duncan said the falsetto is finally back on 3 songs on burn burn...i think he mentioned paper moon as one of them
Is there something good, something more?
Is there anything worth dying for?

If I'm not mistaken Trusty's said before that the falsetto isn't present in Burn Burn... or was he just talking about a few songs? Anyone remember? Trusty?

I'm gonna back to the previous page and say that I adore Sorry, Story About a Girl, BBTS, All for You, and Do You Like It. I liked Innocent a lot more than some, but more for the melody than the lyrics, I think.
I just wanna get out,
Stuck inside of this.
Waiting for something else,

Overall, I would say that Gravity is more enjoyable than HIPT.

I can't wait for this new album, I have a really good feeling about it!

Even if we can get the "light" falsetto used in "A/L/S", that would still be a huge bonus.

It's good news.

The title "Paper Moon" caught my eye from when I first heard about it, and now I really look forward to it. Wonder which other songs could include the falsetto? Of the ones we've heard live, I'd say "Dreamland", "White Flags" and "Monkey Brains" have falsetto potential but Raine didn't use it in the live renditions — then again he doesn't use it for live performances of pre-Gravity songs either :P. Of the songs we haven't heard, I'm not sure, I'm doubting "Never Get Over You"... maybe "Escape Artist"? Title reminds me of "Trapeze".

I do miss the falsetto, I think bringing that back, even just a little bit at times will make a huge difference in the appeal of certain songs.

His falsetto is what makes him stand out as a vocalist.
