I actually clicked with the first four pretty quickly, which is kind of surprising because I didn't really have that good of music taste around that time (OLP got me to branch out a lot more, and now my tastes are ridiculously different for the most part). I also liked Gravity a lot because it fit in the spectrum of what I was listening to. It took a few listens to Healthy to warm up to it, and now I love the album, although I'll definitely admit that creatively it's not that great.

Pft, I still have a shit music taste. :D I mean, I'm pretty dedicated to music... and by music I mean, "Our Lady Peace, Marianas Trench, and Billy Talent." My musical spectrum is so narrow, but at least it has been getting better.

Not sure if this has already been mentioned, but there's a live studio clip of "All You Did Was Save My Life" on .NET.

Not only that but I like the new background with the birds flying over the path.

Rural that is cause Chapter lll is now opened.

Hey Trustworthy. Are we going to get the full in-studio of All You Did after the single is released? Or are we stuck with another snippet?

Either the 25th or the 9th. It wouldn't drop before the single is released.

Can't wait to see a new OLP music video, I hope MuchMusic honors them with heavy rotation like they deserve.

Then maybe I could stand watching MOD... new Billy Talent song (which will of course be on heavy rotation) and new OLP. That will somewhat make up for the variety of Beyonce, Nickelback, and Demi Levato.

I think it'd be on heavy roation.

Hard to tell. If the song does well-enough on the radio, the video won't get played. If the song becomes huge, it will get moderate play. This means it'll do somewhat decent on Fuse's rock countdown, and MTV2/VH1 will play it while everyone is asleep.

Oh. It just occurred to me that you probably weren't talking about the video. For the radio, I wouldn't expect to hear it unless you live up north, closer to the Canadian border.

I just don't think AYDWSML is "big hit" single material. It's just too randomly constructed and the lyrics don't really make any sense (but are still generic unlike OLP's old stuff), and it still sounds too unnaturally slow-paced to me... even after hundreds of listens. And we already know about the "Perfect Strangers" argument, LOL.

SOT and Innocent are of the same style, yes, but I'm sad to say that they were produced better (by Bob Rock, I know) and have a more compact feel and consistent theme. And SOT is a pop ballad, which is great for radio.

But FYI I'm still not worried about the rest of the album, because I know that AYD was just put together quickly to be a "fast-paced opener" to the album, like Jeremy said on the Strombo Show. I have a feeling that most of the rest of the songs will have a different production style and theme.
