Fox doesn't really have a good history of keeping shows alive because of fanmail, petitions, audience response, etc. I mean, I'm not sure I've ever heard of a fan campaign as fierce as the Browncoats (save maybe Jericho), and where's Firefly now?
Family guy.

I really liked this week's episode. Here's hoping we're getting close to finding out what happened to these people!

You wouldn't say that if you knew Seth McFarland's paycheck.

He's the highest paid writer these days, but that was hardly the case when they first put it back on air. To begin with he was given about $50,000 an episode, I believe. Even today, they only spend about 1M an episode, which is definitely less than most sci-fi shows.
Irregardless, it was brought back because it was (and continues to be) a money-maker, not because of fan support.
That sounds like awesome news for dollhouse! I sincerely hope that's true.
I've pretty much given up on Terminator too, so that's not going to be a surprise...

Irregardless is not a real word, missy!!!
Irregardless is considered nonstandard because of the two negative elements ir- and -less. It was probably formed on the analogy of such words as irrespective, irrelevant, and irreparable. Those who use it, including on occasion educated speakers, may do so from a desire to add emphasis. Irregardless first appeared in the early 20th century and was perhaps popularized by its use in a comic radio program of the 1930s.

Family guy was the show with the MOST fan feedback such as online petitions and letters sent to fox to bring back the show.

Yes it is! Nonstandard, perhaps, but a real world nonetheless! New =/= fake

Soooo FOX released their schedule for the rest of the season yesterday, and it looks like they're not gonna air the season finale.
This is not terrible in the sense that, kind of like with Buffy season 4, episode 12 wraps up the major plotlines and then 13 is its own thing. But still. Last ep scheduled to air is May 8th, with episode 12, and then the next week Prison Break gets two hours.
FOX is the worst network ever.
I just wanna get out,
Stuck inside of this.
Waiting for something else,
Uh......what fucking morons. How can you air an entire series and then just not air the finale? That's the dumbest thing ever.

It's not the finale-finale though. It's a standalone. I hear it might even be set in the future.
Felicia Day was in it though, so that sucks that we won't see her part until it makes it to dvd.
