I've been bitten by ducks too. It's not that weird, considering feeding them is a common pass-time.

You do learn something new every day.
I only know I heard that phrase before. As I said got it off some you know you are Canadian Quiz that my friend sent me. Maybe it was a quiz on the different Provinces. I really did not know it was a Sask.. term..

I only been bitting by dogs and cats.

YOu can get bitten by almost anything. Just a little odd a duck would bite you. People feed them all the time.. I just feed some of them and this guy when I was in HAWAII. The huge Coy Fish are scary to me..

Believe it or not when he ate from my hand was gentle.

the problem wasnt them being not gentle as much as there were many of them and limited amount of popcorn in my hand (i was busy stuffing my face with popcorn at the same time :nod:

I hear you there. They give you a bag of feed for the fish and the birds. i had about 3 doves in the palm of my hand trying to eat the feed. It was almost funny in away cause they really did not hurt you. It is scary when you tossed food into the lake. There were coy fish there. When food goes in they all go for it at once.. Same with the birds. The really braves ones actually jumped into your hand.. There was this guy and his girlfriend takin a few photos of it cause they could not believe the bird was in my hand..

As for you I try to take you popcorn also :nod:

ducks definitely can bite. i've been bitten...although it was more so that the duck missed the piece of bread in my hand, and got my hand instead.

i've been bitten by a hedgehog! not many people can say that!

...the little guys have darn sharp teeth.

nippy tried that and spent most of the time being disgruntled with me.. her solution was to bite my hair and/or lick it till i threw her some :lol:

that and crawl under my blanket and poke me every now then while i watched the movie hahaha (i'd sleep on the couch and the AC vent is right above so i'd have my blanket with me :lol:

the hedgehog was mine. and it was indeed named sonic.

he was a cool little dude. he had personality. they're surprisingly easy to handle once they get used to you...but will bite, like any small animal, almost out of nowhere.

i've wanted a hedgehog since i saw one at the royal winter fair when i was 8 or so. they're just so damn cute. my mom just wasn't going for it though. someday, i will be able to afford a pet again...

I remember being at Disney World in Animal Kingdom and chasing a random duck, and one of the employees saying, "Watch out! It bites! It IS a wild animal!"

And I just laughed. Well no duh, my brother and I had a pet duck, and it wasn't very nice. We named him Duck. He was awesome. :nod:
