Whose the friend and why do you say they don't know for sure?

I'm not sure who the friend is... I didn't ask. The band put their "stamps" on the song to make it OLP.

the way they talked to me about the songs... it seemed as if they are still undecided about the first single. But they are leaning towards this song.

It was all in conversation though...we were talking about other things. So don't take my word for it.

Anyway I'm off to catch some more shows... CMW!!!!

Matt or Josh, if you need the video just let me know and I'll send you a separate link to download. :)

Peace all

Saw those today, great video! If you can post a link to the files, it would be appreciated as always. Kathy, if you can load your videos from the Rivoli somewhere, that would be sweet too.

Forgot to mention Raine enjoyed staring at the floor during Monkey Brains, which he apparently did the night before too?

He stares at the floor a lot lately - I've noticed at a couple of concerts that's where he looks for at least a little while for parts of songs.

Maybe he's trying really hard to remember the lyrics or something, you never know. I imagine it'd be a little bit awkward to be onstage, trying to perform, and not knowing how to move. I guess he should've mastered that by now, though.

He often tapes the lyrics to songs to the floor by the setlist. At the Drake Hotel concert in '05 he had the lyrics to Somewhere Out There taped by his mic stand and still screwed them up every night of the tour until they stopped in Summer '06. Also, in Vancouver, he came out with the lyrics to Liar taped to his forearm when he performed with the Neverending White Lights.

Is he just that bad at remembering the lines? I know with some songs where different verses are so similar it could happen every so often...but he does seem to make mistakes quite often.

I guess they do have a lot of material to remember, but they really only ever play 1/5th of it live.

You beat me to it, Matt!

I'm still pissed that guy stole those lyrics from me when I was snagging the setlist.

So how is it that fans like us can know every word to every song, and the actual band doesn't? XD

Well, when you switch up your setlist every night I'm sure it gets hard to remember all of the song lyrics. ;)

Yeah, I get how it'd be hard to remember some of the lyrics. If there are only slight variations in the lyrics, like in Is Anybody Home? at certain points, I can see how he'd screw up.
