LOL yes, it did... I assumed you meant that you were mistaken in pre-judging the crappiness of the album (as you had done previously) because you liked the new song.

But... what DID you mean?

i meant that i'm no longer going to base my opinions on live songs, because i do not enjoy any of the new stuff whatsoever in its live form.

so...hopefully if i wait for the new cd, and stop listening to the live stuff, it may prove to be enjoyable to my ears. for now...i shall wait and shut up until i hear the final product.

Ohh, I get ya. Yeah I'm not entirely impressed with the new (live) material either, and I'll be waiting for the studio versions to pass final judgment as well. But for the time being the collective live songs I've heard so far from Burn Burn rank above HIPT, but rank below Naveed, Clumsy, Happiness, SM and Gravity.

Woohoo!

... though, geez, that's a big gap between first single and album. Hope it doesn't destroy any momentum the band gets for album sales.

I hope not either!!

but yeah I can agree with Teedus that is what "CHUM FM" had informed so we'll see if it's true b/c final word always comes from OLP.

For those that are on my facebook can see the video. I don't feel comforatble uploading high quality video on YouTube then to here due to copyright infringement and people claiming it's theirs ...blah blah blah

Matt or Josh, if you need the video just let me know and I'll send you a separate link to download. :)

Peace all

According to a fellow fan who talked to Jeremy and Steve after the show, here is some info that we know about "Burn, Burn": "All You Did Was Save my Life" which has also been sourced as "All You Ever Did" will be the first single followed by "Dreamland." Additional songs also included on the CD will be: "White Flags," "Monkey Brain," "Waiting for Something to Happen" and "The Right Stuff." Thanks Tim for passing this along.

Yeah! Monkey Brains is in the album...h

Blah, I'm sad I missed it, I could have used an OLP night after the hell week I just had.

Also, am I the only one who's refusing to believe it until I see it? :P

I would be interested to hear monkey brains from last nite cause someone said they played it without the slow bridge...which is odd because at the rivoli they played the bridge, this time with raine playing acoustic, which was different from new years
Is there something good, something more?
Is there anything worth dying for?

Haha well it's been said that Raine was a little intoxicated during the Friday show (he hit into Steve, unintentionally, after a performance), so maybe he just forgot that part and the band went along?

Yeah, the guitar definitely does. Not so much the lyrics or melody otherwise, but yeah it reminds me of that song... but IMO, AYDWSML is a better song overall.

Better quality. If anyone wants the true version, lemme know.

P.S. "Summer" probably means May if the single is in a few weeks.

P.P.S. Raine reuses "The more I learn, the less I know" in the single.
"I'll never get over you."
