the music is what you make it my friend. Nothing in this lifetime, or any others, will ever live up to the hype if you let the hype live up to your expectations of life.
that cover is getting me soo pumped for the cd such a sick cover, i wonder why his hand thats holding the brief case has a glove on it and the other doesn't
This album cover is greatness! It may not have Sol, but damn, I love it! Very artistic and nostalgic. Disturbing and uplifting. Hmm... I just all around enjoy it.
Hey Trustworthy, is Burn Burn going to be a return to the Naveed style? (i.e. heavier rock and cryptic lyrics)
I'm just curious, cause Raine mentioned Burn Burn being a return to Naveed on a few occaisions, but songs like "White Flags" and "Waiting For Something to Happen" sound more like Gravity.
Not trying to probe you for info, just would really like to your opinion!
Look what magical things happened while I was gone!
The cover is very cool. The font and colour of the band's name and the album name give me a very peaceful, artsy, acoustic feel, and for whatever reason make me think of sunshine and happiness. The man reminds me of Sol, and the carnival below makes me think of Clumsy. I'm not entirely sure if that was an intentional nod, but I can only assume so because I'm sure they could guess that we'd make some kind of connection between the two.
I don't understand what the balloons have to do with anything. If anything, the cover art makes it look like it should be called Escape Artist, not Burn Burn.
But whatever. Most CD covers don't really have anything to do with the album itself anyway...

Well the magnifying gkass is "burning" the rope that the dude is holding onto. I bet they just added the magnifyer to the cover after they changed the album title.
