I'm not complaining! I love that we finally have *something* semi-substantial! It's just funny.

Finally. This is great news. Looks like the album will be actually coming out this year.

No, I think that's supposed to be Raine, wearing one of his famous hats. You can see he's holding up a microphone and wearing a wristwatch (on the other hand). I doubt Saul would be doing that haha.

The one with the candle will always remind me of the video somebody made for Not Enough on youtube.

Yeah, these banners look like something somebody whipped up on picnik randomly. But I think I like the one with the man hanging from the writing, the one with the smoke, or the one with the paint splats.

there's also a twitter update from today that says "in the studio, the baby (Burn Burn) is getting very big. Contractions should be coming along in a couple months. I think it's a boy!"

So clearly for you people that are freaking out over the comma in the title.... It's not there.

We can let that issue rest for the next several months while we wait for this "baby" to start kicking like a hookers vs. pimps soccer match.

We'll see. A couple of months ... I wonder. May? Contractions, too, as if only in a few months will we get more details. DETAILS. I hope Jeremy isn't so smart that he knows to choose his words wisely.

This is OLP... "a few more months" = 6 years.

She's right. I think we should know better to trust Jeremy and his estimated release dates by now.
I still have the original Vampires demo on my iPod, and every single time I hear him say "Should finish it in the fall, be out in the new year." I want to yell at him for being such a liar. What was it, a year and a half after that the album really came out?

I've got my money on 2011!

yeah when Steve told us it was going to be called Burn Burn and that they had some mixing to do, that was mid October so maybe Feb 2010 it should be released

So it's not called Escape Artist? Someone needs to go correct some info at RateYourMusic.com...

From my understanding, it was Escape Artist, and then Jeremy's Facebook said that it was called Burn Burn and it is now officially Burn Burn.

I liked Escape Artist better. It sounds kind of clumsy-era-ish. Carnivals, trapeezes, magicians, it all goes in together!
I actually thought Burn Burn was a song until you said that and I realized it was illogical to think they'd be making loads of banners for one song... right.

I also preferred Escape Artist (especially with the whole OLP no longer under Sony--or semi-under Sony? Whatever's going on there). Burn Burn is fine, though.

Though I can see the negative reviews now. "OLP should've taken their own advice and Burn Burned this album." Oooh, or: "Don't bother buying; Burn Burn is only worth a Burn Burn to a CD-R."

OH SNAP.
I just wanna get out,
Stuck inside of this.
Waiting for something else,

I loved the title Escape Artist, it was like an embodiment of what they were doing: pulling away from the grip of a label.

The funny thing is though, that Escape Artist is now supposed to be one of the songs on the album, while Burn Burn was PREVIOUSLY meant to be a song title. They switched 'em around. Anyway, maybe EA will be a great song.
