I thought the first episode was pretty good, and I like the concept... will keep watching.

Just watched it.

I spose starting with a blank slate gives unlimited oportunities script wise, but this paticular script wasn't anything to sneeze about.

Watch the next one, Kicker--it's supposedly amazing. Joss says it saved the show (I don't know if he means made the show worth making, or actually saved, as in Fox was about to can the whole project when this episode came along).

I watched the pilot, and while there were definitely spots where you could tell it was hastily written and largely trying to please Fox, I still loved it. The ratings were mediocre, unfortunately, though they still haven't factored in DVR and online viewings, so not all is lost. Besides, even though the ratings weren't great, they did really well in the demographics that they need to do well in, so there's a decent chance the show will make it through the whole first season, even if it doesn't get picked up for a second.

I'm on my third re-watch. Over the next week I'll have to watch it on Hulu and Fox, because if I have to do it myself, I will keep this show on the air.

Saman! Way to go with making this thread, you're my hero of the hour. As it's currently 8:27, you have 33 minutes of heroing left! YAY!

Putting it on Friday nights seemed kind of silly - aren't people usually out on Fridays? Oh well maybe not those of us who would watch a show like this...

I DVRed it, I don't like watching live TV anymore. Yay for being able to fast forward!

Say what? If you mean Tru Calling, that lasted for like 2 seasons if I recall. I really thought that was a crappy show. It was interesting at first and then was just really boring and completely uninteresting after a while.

This seems alright. Although putting it on Friday is just digging the shows grave.

yeah it wasn't well put together at all. a few bad actors that needed to be taken out. (the guy who talks about being a billionaire).

I hope it's true that the next one will be better, because it's usually a pilot that gets people interested, and while the concept is good, it wasnt presented well, so they're gonna need some good buzz...

REMINDER BUMP!

I ask anyone who is doubtful to watch tonight's, and to make their final decision afterwards. Please? As a favor to a fetus?

I'm ten minutes from the end and I'm still a bit confused. Not quite sure what's going on with this hunter dude and why the whole thing was necessary...maybe it will be "revealed" at the end of the episode?

Still, better than last week's. At least we're getting some back story.

Hmm... no more sense is made although it raises some interesting questions and sets up the rest of the season more efficiently than the pilot.

Hey judging from Buffy and Angel, shouldn't we really give it at least a season before making a final decision?

I mean Buffy wasn't really that good until the second season... except that one time when they killed and ate the principal.

I actually much preferred the first season and a couple after that of buffy... I thought the later seasons were really cheesy.

I loved the second episode. I was a huge fan. I'm a bit worried about the next episode, though. Echo has to protect a pop diva? Okay... it's written by two of the co-writers of Dr. Horrible, though, so hopefully it'll be okay. My hopes are lower than they have been at other times, though. It feels very much like the episodes of Quantum Leap that I skip on the DVD.

I think I found the inspiration for this show. Except it originally starred Space Ghost, Daffy Duck, and Bugs Bunny as teenagers. It was to take air on the WB.

Yeah, I was a little put-off by that...hoping that it turns out OK.
