I do, however, get the option as to whether I want to save it or open it in Firefox, and when I clicked Open I could see it, so it shouldn't be that big a deal...unless you don't get that dialog box...

The picture itself is very weird...they're very strangely pasted together O_o;;

No, that picture is definitely either cropped and pasted together from separate photos, or someone did a really messed up job with the air brushing. Check out the frontman's ears, and the seams of the faces.

The image code used to work fine on the link you got in the post to the picture. Only catch was you had to be logged in to be able to see it.

Nope, I don't get that dialogue box. I only have the option to save it and that's all.

I doubt there's any truth to this because, well, it came from Wikipedia... But I was looking at Jeff Burrows wiki page today and it's been editted to say that the album is hoped to be released this summer.

Like I said, I doubt it, but I just thought it was odd that I saw that and hadn't heard anything about it in months.

I'm just curious if this will be as good as Mike's work with OLP and Jay McGroarty, or as bad as Fair Ground!

I guess we can't entirely blame Mike for Fair Ground though, considering the songs were just recycled from the other fellow's solo record.

I gotta admit, I agree with Josh though, I definitely preferred his stuff with Jay to what I heard of Fair Ground.

Why not? I thought the music they made together was amazing, and I actually prefer it to Jay's solo work (although Jay's solo work is awesome too).

Jay's solo work pre-EP is amazing. His newer stuff, not so much. The reason his stuff with Mike was so appealing, at least to me, is that the music and lyrics had a strong resemblance to Happiness/Spiritual Machines, especially with Jamie doing work on it too. Halos is the most awesome song he made. It's untouchable. A song totally made up and recorded on the fly. It's amazing. His newer stuff, to me, doesn't have the same heart in it. Perhaps that's because he is trying to capture someone's attention and get a hit with someone so he can capitalize on the royalties. Nothing wrong with that. I'm sure it brings in more cash than teaching guitar.

Fair Ground was ok. They had some catchy songs, with lyrics that were mediocre, in my opinion. Mike had some good guitar parts in a few songs, but nothing that was out of the ordinary or challenged him. It's sad because you can listen to some of the 1997-2000 concerts and here him go bananas on a few songs. No judgements on the new group until I hear some tracks first.

I was under the impression that Jay wrote the songs, then Mike just came in and played on them, much like the Fair Ground situation. But perhaps I'm wrong?

Well, I don't know if just *anyone* could have played the music Jay wrote, so regardless of whether he wrote it or anything, he made it sound amazing.

well i did a little searching on chartattack and i dont know if anyone else has seen this article, but it appears the band is for real and putting the finishing touches on the record. the band is called Crash Karma

I found it coincidental that Edwin's last show will be on Duncan Street, considering Crash Karma's guitarist's old band had a certain bass player name Duncan.

Anyway, I pretty stoked. I love OLP, I'm becoming a pretty big fan of The Tea Party (I love half their work, and HATE the other half), and I like a few IME songs... So yeah.
