I'm not a huge fan of lyrics (they aren't really bad from what I can tell, but it just seems Raine's a better poet than songwriter), but I'm really digging the music in it. It's the only new song I've heard that can even be compared to Naveed's sound.

Jeremy manages to get wild in parts, Duncan stands out (both of which we haven't seen in awhile), and Steve gets heavy on the guitar and I thought he sounded good on backing vocals in the chorus (YOOOOOOOUUU).

Monkey Brains is awesome. I can't exactly make out all of the lyrics, but they don't sound like anything too awe-inspiring. Good, but not a-fucking-mazing. If ya know what I mean.

Yeah, I agree, the general MUSIC part of it all is very promising. Me like.

I really like Monkey Brains. I'm actually surprised it's not getting more attention by the CM'ers...I mean, it really is the first pre-Gravity sounding song that they've put out since Gravity (well I think it's a big deal at least)

Yeah it's got a real grunge-ish sound to it, I look forward to its studio version as well as any other classic sounds we might get from Burn Burn.

@ Illusion - I'm waiting for the studio version because the live version was awesome but I had a hard time understanding what was going on. I'd rather hear the studio XD

@ Nir - am I crazy or didn't you get out of the army a year or so ago? Maybe I'm just crazy. Anyway - is the album going to be out where you are at the same time as us? Probably not, eh? Are you planning on importing from the States/Canada? I'm sure you can get a copy from one of us! I'm glad you're excited - maybe we'll catch you at a concert again soon!
