Special Talents

Post by crustine »

I have decided to start a thread where you can post your hidden and special talents.

I was making some potato and leek soup, may sound bland but it is anything but. Anyway above my stove is cupboards where i keep herbs and spices, vinegars, oils and some smaller tinned items like tuna, salmon, green chillies and the like. So I had just finished pureeing the soup and wanted some thyme, while i was trying to find the bag I managed to knock a tin of salmon into the big pot of soup sending up thick splooshes everywhere, my hair ,clothes, walls, but best of all my nose. Given that the soup was freshly boiled and thick, I have burnt the side of my nose and it is threatening to blister. Can't wait for conversations that will surely follow

"what happened to your nose?"
I burnt it with soup!!

That my friends is a special talent!

I can wiggle my nose like a rabbit.

Something's wrong with my throat, too, so by doing a certain thing, I can make a sound that is like a cross between a dog barking and a goose honking.

If all three of you can do it out of five people that posted, then that's not a very special talent!

You have spent too much time around me. I am a bad influence.

Goodbye you liar,
Well you sipped from the cup but you don't own up to anything
Then you think you will inspire
Take apart your head
(and I wish I could inspire)
Take apart your demons, then you add it to the list.
