WTF is w/ those lyrics?? Although like Megan I have my suspicions, it's entirely possible and even likely that this is accurate. Realistically speaking, who would make that up?

The lyrics look pretty complete. It almost looks like a poor attempt at Naveed-ish lyrics as well:

"The seed we sow.."

"You plant the seed..."

And the lyric that sound more like Raine's new obsession with "mother":

"Your mother knows..."

I don't know, if it's the real song it doesn't have much substance.

that's a song by Static-X. How'd I find this out? I googled '"burn to burn" lyrics' (with burn to burn in quotation marks), and all the results were a Static-X song. Easy, eh?

There ya go. Mystery solved.

Hah! I really doubt that's him. But who knows, really. We need a "where are they now?" ex-OLP members edition.

I can tell you where one EX-Member is..

Jamie Edwards is playing with Aimee Mann now. I missed them when they came around a few months back.. They are coming back around in December so hopefully see him then. Imiss him.

Micheal E.. has been playing around with different people also. Mostly LA area..

Who knows what ever became of Chris and Jim? I think Jim was more or less adrummer for hire since he never was in anything else. Never heard of beyond the one song. Since Out Of Here came out independently almost 2 years before Naveed I really do not consider him a member. More or less a musican for hire

I feel love, I feel a power. It comes to me in the darkest hour. And I want to feel it again

if you have enough time to read and post on the CM, you have 5 seconds to do a google search!

I'm busy and taking a break from my work on the CM. Why would I want to do more work? That's where the lazy part comes in.

I don't know about the lyrics in the Right Stuff (i haven't been listening carefully), but I think the song in general is very good. Sounds very New Wave to me for some reason. But I think the song is very well written. Good flow, good structure.

But I'm mostly basing it off the YouTube video of OLP playing it in the streets, acoustically.

Well here's something strange. I just checked the comments on my upload of "Out Of Here" on YouTube. Apparently two weeks ago:

woody5362 wrote:Hey Nikki Jim is actually my cousin and the band was originally called "AS IF" just a bit of trivia for you.

Not an update (or any new trivia ), but strange timing considering how rarely Jim Newell ever comes up in conversation.
