Only watched the beginning cos I've gotta download it to be able to watch it without skipping (stupid slow computer), but he totally said that because of the other song having the same title, and he mixed up NKOTB with BSB. Dang, Raine, get your boybands straight!

I was just wondering if there's anyone out there who really likes the "White Flag" song, with the exception of the verses. I think the chorus is great, even comparable with older music.

I only wish we could somehow get the point to Raine that we DON'T want monotone verses, that could be comparable to his solo work. We want back the melodic verses of the past. After all, the chorus doesn't make the song. It seems all their recent songs are all for the chorus.

Raine doesn't give a shit what anybody wants. Those guys are going to make music that makes them happy. Talk about all you want in their music, but you aren't in the studio, so you don't have much of a say in it. That comes across harsh, and I don't mean it to be, but that's how it is.

from just hearing those rough lives versions of the 3 new songs, I still like them more then anything from the last 2 cds, so I guess atleast in my eyes they are improving. Raine does need to drop the talking during songs, save it for your solo stuff, it just doesn't fit these songs at all. But again we don't know for sure how these songs will sound when they are produced. I mean look at Not afraid, I don't think anyone of us thought it would turn into what we got on a cd, that made me want to shove glass in my ears..

Since I can't be bothered to start a new topic that might not get any replies, I'll ask here:

Is there anyone who shares my view that "Everyone's a Junkie" is one of the greatest songs on SM? The one small detractor is the "Big green monkey" part, but it's still a kick-ass song. The band doesn't seem to like it, Jer listed it in "songs we'll never play live" in a recent interview. But I just adore it. Anyone else?
