Raine was wiped from the birth on Saturday, flying to Charlottetown on Sunday and then back to LA early on Monday morning. There wouldn't be any direct flights, so I guess it would be 8 to 10 hours of travel time each way.
What a beautiful baby boy!!
I was surprised that Raine didn't mention anything during the show.

Thanks Matt.. I wanted to delete it but could not find out how.
My friend's baby was born 12:54AM Friday.. She is almost 1/2 day older then your niece.

yeah Salvador is definitely a beautiful baby. I am thinking it must have been a quick birth as he doesnt have the cone head. Remarkable.
My neighbour had a baby on the 16th. New babies make me cry. There is something so pure that make me get very emotional.

my guess would be that, that has to do with motherly instinct given in some animal species, when one of the pack/herd/whatever gives birth the other females will go as far as to defend, protect, etc the young un.. whereas the males wont as much

Speaking of Animal Species. My friend's cat had her kittens yesterday. Only two though.
As for the statement it is someone true. On my part anyway. When females have children. Their close friends tend to be motherlike to the children. I know my close friends their children are all my *nieces and nephews* and god help anyone who trys to hurt them. You do go into that protective mood.
I would not say males are not protective. Just have a different role in it. Where a female may protect the males find food, or shelter.
