I am down to single digit hours until i have my dirty, white, hands on GTA IV. My gosh I'm getting excited!

Oh...and I'm gonna possibly try and get outta work tomorrow so hopefully we can all take a break from the single player and get online, together! Lets do some drive-bys and then go bowl a game. Fuck the other team! haha!

I walked into Walmart at 9am and got the first copy they had. The fellow working there even had to open up the box.

yeah i already had a pre-order but it was supposed to be shipped to me, but unlike halo i didn't receive the shipping notice before the release date, so I decided I didn't want to wait until friday to get my game.

That Gears 2 footage looks sick. I'm sure the campaign will impress me again, but the multiplayer will suck ass again. :lol:

Johnny, Mike told me that you said you weren't impressed with the ending. He said he was taking the "other route" whichever that meant. I had to force him to keep from talking b/c I don't want anything ruined. I'm still forever away from the end, but I still don't wanna know.

I still think Gears is one of the best multiplayer experiences... Even with all the glitchiness and lag problems, it takes actual skill and practice to take people down. That being said, I think Call of Duty 4 is one of the best multiplayer experiences too, only you don't need to be good to win or to get a kill or two, because people have less health, so even my shitty friends who aren't really gamers can compete online on that game.

I just was not impressed with Gears' approach to the online. I think the whole 4 vs. 4 just really annoyed me. There's more to it than just that. There were other elements that just bugged me about it. Cliffy B. has already stated that Gears 2 is going to see a lot of changes in the multiplayer, so I actually hope that I may actually like playing Gears 2 online. Can never have enough solid titles to play online.

I actually have a friend that I've made up at Walmart that is supposedly just now going to sign up for Xbox Live because he's just recently been hearing how great CoD4 is online. So I might have a noob joining me online here, soon, if he actually gets on "live" and starts playing.

New accessory codenamed "Lips" to be announced tomorrow by Microsoft. Hopefully. Also a Scene It 2 and Viva Pinata 2 Trouble In Paradise.

Leaked Game Informer for next month supposedly reporting that Guitar Hero 4 will include drums and mic. Will also have "create a track" option.
