the thing that connects a comp to a monitor doc
and cass.. at this point in time in terms of cost effectiveness yeah thats the best way to go.. in the long run however i'd say either blu-ray or hd because of the increased capacities (roughly 50 gigs per disc for blu-ray and i wanna say 25 or so for hd but i forget)

the long and short of it is no..
it could be your battery (not holding a charge when charged, not actually charging when plugged in, etc)
it could be a loose connection somewhere (which reminds me i need to buy a screwdriver kit and possibly a soldering iron for my cell)
or it could be something else all together although the most likely causes are those 2 (generally speaking)

my brothers did that a lot
in his case tho.. he liked to be cool and toss the phone and catch it.. but since he was an ugly baby he failed at catching it often. the end result is it'd turn off randomly on his own.. somehow he managed to parlay his idiocy into a nice & new snazzy phone

Or... go to where you bought it with your receipt, warranty and contract and suggest that there is either a power failure or a defective battery thats causing your phone to turn off, and so that they either need to repair it or replace it.

Goodbye you liar,
Well you sipped from the cup but you don't own up to anything
Then you think you will inspire
Take apart your head
(and I wish I could inspire)
Take apart your demons, then you add it to the list.

So I'm working on a new Top Gear music video similar to the One Man STIG video I made.
I have a video clip that's perfect for a guitar solo but I need to lengthen it out or slow it down.
For Example if the video clip is 1 minute long and the solo is 1:20 I want to stretch out the video to match the solo.
I could only find one software download that did this however since it's shareware it has an ugly watermark on it and I don't want to pay $60 just for this one clip.
Anyone know of some freeware/shareware/warezware software out there that will accomplish what I'm trying to do here?
Thanks!!

WARNING NOT COMPUTER RELATED
My DVD player has been in fine working condition for ages, and has been hooked up here for a few months working fine... including last night. And I came home and turned it on today and there is no colour. Its not related to the DVD because the standard menu is in B&W, not just whats being played. Furthermore its NOT a cable issue. Its been hooked up fine, I already tested the cables and they are fine, and nothing would have touched them to change the settings anyway. Its not like I'm hooking this up for the first time and its in black and white. Its also not my tv thats in black and white, just the dvd.
so anyone know whats going on?

hmm, so i'm looking it up on google. one solution seems to be to take all other signals going into the tv out, like vcr, and only keep the dvd player in. another is to tune your dvd player up a channel on your tv, and then back down. your manual should tell you how to do this if you don't know how. if those don't work, try using an s-video cable instead. and if that still doesn't work, erm, get a new dvd player?
What cables are you running from your DVD player to the TV? S-video, component (red/blue/green), or composite (yellow video, red/white audio)? Also, Saman is correct in stating that occasionally other signals going into the tv at the same time might interfere if they are powered on.
