he should've said Raine who?

and then busted out a guitar and started running up all close to the cameras and just randomly strumming loudly yelling "i'm the best guitar player in the worrrrrrllld!"

and announcing that this is his new MT solo album.

I think that's the funniest thing I've seen you write in a while.

Can someone please explain why Mike left? I've heard all the "creative differences", Raine bashed him as "someone not meant to do great things with a six-stringed instrument", but what the hell actually happened that made the rift?

I can only say that Mike has no ill will toward Raine or anyone else in OLP. He is pass all of that ...He told me himself..

You will find it interesting to know that Mike is working with Edwin, Jeff Burrows and Amir Epstein on material. I posted it EMTEE thread.

See, everyone says that - "I can't tell you, it's personal." Great, it's personal, but I think the fans that have been really invested in the music should get to know approximately why he left the band, especially after so much incredible music. "Creative differences" really doesn't answer squat.

This is the closest I've ever heard to an explanation:
http://listenin.org/interviews/archive/ ... -band.aspx

After listening to the interview, I'm pretty sure it relates to OLP selling itself out on Gravity and I think that Mike didn't wanna go along with it...so they went different paths.

It just seems strange that Mike's new band, Fair Ground, seems to make music that's as poppy as anything I've ever heard on gravity :(
