I think I may have landed myself a job. Inside sources (Kym) tell me that they're interviewing 3 and hiring 2. I was the first interview, so first one to make an impression on them, and I felt that it went very well. This is some of the most exciting news I've had in too long.

Also, Matt's wedding was great! I felt almost right at home in Tennessee, apart from the crazy accents, not knowing who anyone was, and signs along the side of the road warning you to watch out for seesaws:

Image

You really have to watch out for those seesaws, sometimes they come out of nowhere!

And Matt is a total VIP in Wal-Mart and he knows all the secrets. We had to stop by for some last minute stuff on the way to the wedding, and seriously we were in the store, made the purchase, and back on the road again in like 5 minutes.

But yeah, in a lot of ways Tennessee reminded me of Oregon, just perhaps less rugged mountains and different trees.

The wedding was great, Heather's dress was amazing, the ring bearer was adorable, and my tux fit pretty well despite missing last minute adjustments and the rehearsal due to airplane delays.

Matt and Heather, I'm so happy for both of you and wish you the best!

At the end of the reception, Kym caught the bouquet and I caught the garter. Oh, but if I get that job we're not allowed to get married since we'll be working together. It's only a ~1 year contract position, though, so that'll be okay. \m/

Also, I got some exclusive bachelor party pictures of Matt and CMettes in the hot tub. :O

I just got a job offer (not the one I mentioned in the last post)!

I'm going to call them back on Monday to discuss the details, I told them I actually thought they were another company that I'm expecting a call from haha.

Thanks Josh, and everyone else who sent their well wishes to Heather and myself. I particularly want to single out Josh, Kym, and Sooz for travelling great distances to come to our wedding. Josh and Kym went through utter hell just to get here, so kudos to them for having such good attitudes in the end. Sooz was our house guest for 3 nights and was a pleasure to have here. I also want to thank Jim Nielson, Robbo, Afe Jen, Christine, Yannic, and Matt Good for signing the nice wedding card. We just got back home from our honeymoon and had a great time. I'll have wedding pictures and honeymoon pictures up later. :D

congrats sir, nice wedding pics.

Although, you and your wife kind of look like two stick dudes on a see-saw (teeter-totter) in the pic that josh posted.

I NEED A NEW PRINTER! Preferably one that actually works right, and can print more than five pages a minute.

yeah, we sell a lot of those hp 1018s. the only thing is, like most cheap laser printers, they don't print colour.
