A MESSAGE FROM RAINE

On November 13th the lid will finally be ripped off this collection of music. i'm usually anxious before new songs are uncovered but i'm surprisingly calm as this release approaches. i actually cant wait for everyone to dig into the music. the handful of live shows i've done this past year helped me realize how important this solo record is. these are personal journals put to beats and chords in a way i'd yet to experiment with. the response so far helped fuel this creative urge and i thank you all for your positivity and support. see you on the road.

sincerely,
Raine

Yea the album looks straight out of the '70's

Then again he may had been goin for that look with it being somewhat of a throwback to writers of that decade (Dylan and such)

I really like the cover. It has a very classic look to it...also like the dark effect.
And if I don't make it known that
I've loved you all along
Just like sunny days that
We ignore because
We're all dumb and jaded
And I hope to God I figure out
What's wrong

I'll buy it strictly for the cover - that's a kind of album I've never owned before!

sure im only using this post and raine's beard as an excuse to never shave again because in reality im lazy but seriously, does one need more justification to never shave again after a post like this and that beard on that mans face? i think not.

I also see a lot of Kerouac, Ginsberg, and the beat generation trying to invade Raine and come out through his music.

Even his my space page description is written in spontaneous prose.

Stay tuned to your email? Is there a mailing list I'm unaware of?

and the beard/hat combination kind of reminds me of an old fisherman.

We all can't hate on Raine because he can grow a better beard than all of us.

Thats right ladies.....you too. Obey the beard.
