I got up to the boss in the demo and got pwned so quickly I knew there was no chance I would ever beat it.
I've been having fun with demos. I downloaded the Folklore/Folksoul demo from the JP store and damn I can't wait for this game. It's got such great atmosphere and art direction, and the combat is fun. You use the sixaxis to steal the souls of your enemies and when you acquire a new soul you get a new combat ability depending on the enemy.
And apparently the way you play the game with one main character affects how it goes with the second main character when you play through a second time.

Nope. Unfortunately it doesn't, or the price would be reasonable.
This listing says what it includes, I also read what it included on ign.com

For anyone with an Xbox 360, (not sure if they released the demo for download with the PS3) Download the Stranglehold demo. It's wicked fun. Beat it once to unlock a new skill and beat it a second time to unlock yet another skill. Oh you also unlock hard difficulty the first time and then Hard Boiled difficulty the second time through.

The Rock Band bundle is going to ship with one guitar, the drums, and the mic.
ALSO, Guitar Hero guitars ARE compatible with Rock Band; remember, Harmonix made both.
200 bucks is not bad; considering their first price point was initially 300-350; at least they kept the price more sane. I'll pay 200.
Oh, and Lando; the Stranglehold demo rocks. I can't wait for that game.

Yup; later. It was announced a couple days ago that the PS3 version is being delayed.
Oh, and for Wii owners. New "Wii Ware" went live; some Metroid Prime 3: Corruption video footage.
Also, Metroid and Super Metroid are joining the virtual console within the next 2 weeks. Great additions to the virtual console.

Its also been confirmed that the Premieum 360 is now going to be shipping with HDMI. Possibly the core as well.
Oh, and if you preorder Halo 3 from Target (10$ preorder) when you pick up the game you receive 2 Halo3 figurines.
Oh...and the new Mountain Dew/Halo3 Game Fuel only tastes good when its REALLY cold. Like, been in the freezer for a bit, cold.

Actually that's not true, in one of the earliest interviews with one of the Rock Band creators, I don't remember which guy, he guaranteed the game would be under 250 US.

Maybe. However, I read an early article shortly after the periphrials went into testing; I read how initial price points passed around after the first batch of testing was in the 300.00 range. I remember the blog I was reading ripping it apart saying thats rediculous. It may have been Kotaku. I don't remember.
Either way, 200 bucks for the whole package is fine. I already have one GH2 guitar, so that'll become the bass guitar for Rock Band; until I can afford another RB guitar. The Rock Band guitars have the ability to do more effects; so its gonna be worth the gameplay to invest.

Another sweet part about Rock Band is the fact that they will be releasing full albums; to play to. Supposedly, Rock Band is trying to secure enough material to release a new album each week.
So far, they have already secured three major albums:
1. The Who - Who's Next
2. Metallica - The Black Album
3. Nirvana - Nevermind

Very possible. Both titles are set to feature Metallica; so we'll see. I, myself, am totally stoked for GH3 and will more than likely pick that up also upon release.
Being able to play "Rock You Like a Hurricane" and "Paint It Black" is going to be too hard to resist.

The interview I'm recalling was an exclusive first look in like OXM I believe. I believe they did mention that the cost of development of the new instruments was making them cost around 350-400US but that was the cost of development of the prototypes and stuff and the guy clearly indicates it wouldn't be more than 250 US. Which is still way too much IMO. 110 bucks for a drum kit and mic, is a little expensive. That's like 600 Canadian!

True. Lando was just hoping for dirt cheap; with games being 60 bucks, now, we had to assume the periphs. were going to not be DIRT cheap. haha
The drums look decent; and ship with actual drum sticks so you're right; they'll be able to withstand a beating.
