Brand New - Demo #5
I have to admit, I still listen to the Untitled demos as if they were another seperate album. Songs like #2, 4 and 5 are so good. Even though I heard the demos first though, I really prefer the album versions of the songs that made it a lot better. Although demo 9 and archers are both really captivating apart from each other in their own way.

Goodbye you liar,
Well you sipped from the cup but you don't own up to anything
Then you think you will inspire
Take apart your head
(and I wish I could inspire)
Take apart your demons, then you add it to the list.

Haha. Yeah they do. I remember jammin' to that song. That was back when I thought rap music was awesome.
Rap used to be decent. New stuff is all crap, now.
Oh, and I'm listening to "Message in a Bottle" by The Police.

A lot of Wilco in general, but right now:

I know I'm really late at replying to this, but...
That's because they're not the same song? There's bits they obviously took from 9, but it's not a copy like slow Sowing Season or Luca or even Coca Cola are.
Now playing: Arizona - ...Imagining You
Album: Fameseeker and the Mono EP
Leaked by the band themselves on an illegal downloading site. The future of music is bright.

Bryan! Nice to see you here!
Didn't know that Mobile were still around...I saw them over a year ago.
I've been listening a lot to Ohbijou lately. Those in the Greater Toronto Area should know who these guys are. Bought Swift Feet for Troubling Times at their show last week and it's really good stuff.
I also had to review Timbervision by The National Parcs. They're from Montreal and recorded the album using sounds from the outdoors (ie. rock, wood, tractors, etc.) I'm really not into the hiphop/rap scene but this album is honestly one of the best I've heard so far this year. The rapping style is reminiscent of that of the late 80s/early 90s.

And if I don't make it known that
I've loved you all along
Just like sunny days that
We ignore because
We're all dumb and jaded
And I hope to God I figure out
What's wrong
~4am~
