Ya'll should watch "Grumpy Old Men".

If ya do; you'll get to see some footage of my hometown; Faribault MN.

The opening scenes; theres a railroad depot with a passing train, a shot of what looks like a main street, and a building (from a distance) with an open area of grass. All in my hometown.

Also, the drug store footage in the movie; also from my hometown. Actually, my apt. when I lived back home was kiddy-corner from that drug store.

I just watched that movie the other night; made me miss home. haha.

Were you talking to Lando? Or meant to answer me, Cass? Was Breach good?

Smoking Aces was messed up? In a good way, or no?

Smokin' Aces is really good Neil. It's from the director of Narc. If you've never seen that one, go rent it. Also Cass, Neil asked that. I saw Breach in the theatre. Breach isn't too bad Neil, it's neat to see because it's based on an actual event, if it were all fictionalized, it would be kind of boring.

A neat fact too! The writer/director of Smokin' Aces, Joe Carnahan thought his career in Hollywood was over because he was attached to direct Mission Impossible 3 and he backed out only one month before shooting was scheduled to begin. He worked on the film for 15 months before leaving due to creative differences with studio execs. He was so certain his career was over, he filmed and documented the period of time surrounding his leave from the project. He ended up going on to write and direct Smokin' Aces which didn't do too well in theatres, but has since been a huge hit on DVD. Much like his movie Narc.

Neat, indeed. Good thing he got outta MI3. Anything attached to Tom Cruise and his whacked behind spells trouble.
