Cold in Canada vs. Cold in the US

and you people close down towns in the cold! HAH!
I guess places are worried about lawsuits.
Kids don't know how to drive in the ice and snow, they slide off the road put their car in the ditch, parents sue school for not canceling school for the day.
Or kids getting frostbite in the cold walking to school because they don't know how to dress warm.

This is America, you can sue for anything.

I'm going to sue you for the wrongful allegation of potential suing, and for charges of malicious intent.

Goodbye you liar,
Well you sipped from the cup but you don't own up to anything
Then you think you will inspire
Take apart your head
(and I wish I could inspire)
Take apart your demons, then you add it to the list.

so must snow!
everything is canceled for tomorrow.
i just shovelled mine and my neighbours drive way. oh my. that took so long. my legs are still thawing...it hurts
Special weather statements from Environment Canada warn places like Oakville and Hamilton could wind up with 70 centimetres, thanks to a combination of lake effect squalls and the storm itself.
At least five centimetres had fallen there by the dinner hour and things were just - you should pardon the expression - warming up.
Just how big is this monster? Consider this: when it just started snowing in T.O., it was still coming down all the way into Chicago, where a blizzard warning remained in effect.
And this disturbance is packing just about everything - snow, ice, strong winds, bitterly cold temperatures, the possibility of whiteouts and the near certainty that everything you just shovelled off your driveway will blow back again in mere minutes.
Experts don't expect it to end until sometime late Wednesday. And that means the morning commute from hell just about everywhere by sunrise.
grr, oakville. grr.

So this storm everyone's talking about...is it supposed to hit Quebec? Cause, I just won't stand for that bullshit! It's nice out finally!
Man, you know it's your first winter in Montreal when at the beginning of March there's one good day and you're all like "Woo spring!" and then there's yet another huge dump of snow. And this continues for the next two months, but everytime you still think spring has arrived.
