Exactly. Wait until around 2009; first price drop.

Nah, it'll drop before then, basically they'll start selling the system as a bundle with a game or two for the same price it is currently, but still with two games that are worth even 50 bucks a piece, that's still a 100 dollar price drop... Don't expect that until September when Halo 3 is out.

Ja Herr Landon, I'm holding off for a while now. I might as well wait till MGS4 comes out. Besides, I dare say that XBL will make up for not havin' a PissaSs3.

Phil Harrison was cited two weeks ago; stating that Sony is looking at a decent price drop for mid/late 2009.

If you're thinking price drop this year.....haha, I'll just laugh and leave it be.

On a further note....I'm gonna go wipe doggie poo all over my local Blockbusters front windows.

They will not let me rent 360 or Wii titles without having a major credit card attached to my account; I think this is soooo freaking DUMB.

And why is Blockbuster allowing the individual stores to make that decision?

I could even sign up for the blockbuster GamePass, and still wouldn't be able to rent the new console games..

Even THOUGH they are automatically taking 19.99 plus tax outta my account; every month. They told me I can sign up for the GamePass with my visa checkcard, but still can't rent the new games.

That's freaking totally fucking mad dumb.

I'm going to sign up for Gamefly, and take a shit on Blockbusters door step.

Wow, Xbox Live Arcade is coming around; Worms last week, TMNT Arcade this week, and NEXT week is:

Castlevania: Symphony of the Night.

Finally!

Oh....and I also got accepted by MGS into the Shadowrun Beta. Goodtimes. Downloaded it through the marketplace last night; but have not got in to playing it, yet.

Downloading the "Virtua Tennis 3" demo, first.

Yeah it doesn't matter what they say though. It's all about convincing the consumer to purchase their product for the most amount of money. I'd tell people that they've got no chance of owning my product for cheaper for another 5 years so that they don't think to themselves that they'll just wait a little while until it goes down in price to buy it. Announcing that it won't any time soon is simply a very common marketing method to get people to buy their product rather than waiting two years to own it. As soon as they bundle a game with the system for the same price, it's technically a price drop and another marketing ploy to sweeten the deal. Especially since you can often sell the game back to the store since it's still sealed. This method convinces people that, while they really don't want to wait 2 years for a price drop, at least they get a bonus if they buy the system with a game included. Microsoft bundled games within the first year, expect Sony to do the same. Microsoft is also planning a "decent" price drop still according to XBOX Magazine as their current price isn't considered a significant price difference from launch. I assume that "decent" price drop, in the year 2009, not 2008, means that they're going to drop it at least 200 dollars or more, which is expected two years after the launch of the system.

So...I signed back up for Gamefly. Got my first game yesterday, and the douchebags sent me the WRONG GAME.

Well, right sleeve, wrong game. Somebody probably ripped them off.

So I get stuck with 'effin "Yu-Gi-Oh Spirit Caller" for the DS.

Instead of Ace Attorney; Justice for All. Bastards.

I got Dragonball Z for the Wii, today, from Gamefly. Goodtimes; this should be interesting. Never watched a single one of the cartoons, but I wanted to test the whole fighting-movement situation for the Wii.

Oh...and Castlevania SOTN rocks.

Oh....and Lando, I did hear a new rumor coming outta NYC that Sony is looking into a 100 price drop in October.

Other news....Microsoft is looking into buying "Take Two", which would then put ownership of the GTA series to the X-boys.

Aaand....Red Octane has confirmed that in a few months: Guitar Hero "80s edition" will be released to the PS2.

Hell yeah; I better be able to rock out to some Sister Christian or Whitesnake.

Add me, Johnny, so I don't screw up your tag. (Clumsy 7Twitch) and there is a definite space in my tag.
