I have yet to track down a recording of their "With or Without You" cover.

And I never knew, until this post, of how many 'effin b-sides exist by OLP.

I'm totally not worthy of being an OLP-fanboy.

WOW! I never knew there were that many either. So I have used the hub so I know about that, but how many of these songs have a studio treatment that we can here in full length other than what I listed above??

I left off partial covers because after the Healthy in Paranoid Times tour, there are just too effin many!

Anyone interested can see all known ones at www.bringbackthesun.com though -- just look in the songs section!

The name comes from a webcast while recording Spiritual Machines. I'm not sure if it was spoken or shown written somewhere, but it's possible that Rich and Shelley misheard/misread that one and it's something that looks like "la bra" because I think it's a weird name as well!

It was on a list on the webcast with all the possible song titles.. That is the correct titie. I might have all of them written somewhere. I forgot what song that became(if it in fact became a song we know on the cd)

The list was:

1. Life
2. Middle of Yesterday
3. If You Believe
4. Everyone's a Junkie
5. In Repair
6. Not Making Sense
7. Alibi
8. La Bra
9. The Weight of Violence
10. Are You Sad?
11. Spirit Mafia
12. Sleeping In
13. Ordinary Day

"Not Making Sense" is most likely "All My Friends." "Alibi" is possibly "The Wonderful Future." "Spirit Mafia" is "Right Behind You." Sleeping In and Ordinary Day are both known not to be any songs on Spiritual Machines since they're available online. The Weight of Violence is most likely A Waste of Violence and also known to be the "11th song" which was dropped from Spiritual Machines sometime after it found its way into the tracklist on early versions of the album's artwork. The only song from Spiritual Machines that's left is Made to Heal, but who knows if that has anything to do with La Bra.

I actually wouldn't be surprised if Ordinary Day was made into Made to Heal, but I'm probably just hearing things though.

Is there a full version of the song? All I have is like an seasons greetings/update thing of it.
