it's pretty regular. i thought my oblivion disk must be scratched, i usually have to restart the system a bunch of times to get it to work - but now the console's started freezing with dvds and other games, so i'm not sure it's the disk anymore.

he has a 360, but it was tough for him to get broadband in the area he lives. However, he finally found a provider, that caps him at 40gbs of downloading per month and he expects to have it hooked up in 4 to 6 weeks.

I got my 360 last August and its definitely worth the cabbage I spent on it.

No, I'm not a Sony fanboy. I just think the PS3 is going to be superior system this time round. BUT, its going to be a battle for them because of the 360 and Wiinus.

Yes, I'm getting an XBL account when I get my wireless interwebs. Gimme your gamer tag and we'll play some Gears. And Lando too!

He doesn't like the online Gears Johnny, although it is super amazingly fun, so I'll be there for sure!

Lando's right......online Gears is whacked. However, if I had the shot to play with both Lando and Johnny I'd suffer through it and give it a whurl.

Well, this certainly looks interesting. Sony's 'Home', looks like their answer to the Wii's 'Mii'... only x100.

More PS3 game news: Little Big Planet.

A beautifully rendered platformer with co-op play... only you make the levels and can share levels online. I'm not really good at describing it, so here are some videos:

"Home" looks great......but for one, its a blatent "Second Life" ripoff.

Two, Sony is taking a misguided approach to what is the center of console gaming; the games.

This "Home" thing....is like a game in itself. You know how much time people are going to waste just being in this "Home" thing? Time they should be spending playing PS3 games.

"Little Big Planet"....now, with the right efforts; looks like it could be sweet.

Oh....and for anybody with Xbox Live and a 360; the original, arcade version of TMNT is available for 400 pts through the Live Arcade today.

Can't wait to come home from work and play. 4-player live co-op is gonna rock; if I get Raph.

Oh....and is anybody gonna get picking up Tiger Woods 2007 for the Wii?

That's gonna rock. Much better motion controls than Wii Golf.

I actually checked out Second Life for all of five minutes. It's really, really shitty. Like.. seriously. I couldn't even get past character creation and none of the textures would load.

Tiger's got a lot of flaws still for the wii, it's the best golf game so far, but to me it's not worth picking up until the fix all the flaws that every video game mag and site has been bitching about in their reviews, so next year's version will be good i guess.

Actually, Lando. The only flaws I'm seeing, so far, is that the swing is rather touchy. Like, you have to have a smooth backswing motion otherwise you're fucked.

I love it....I think the reviews are being overly harsh.

You should at least rent it and check it out. I think you'd enjoy it.

There are quite a few more, such as no putting power and that the accuracy is off, if you swing perfect hit with the proper power the majority of the time the ball goes way further than it's supposed to, oh and the backswing is really touchy like you mentioned. This isn't coming from one source either... so I doubt a bunch of different people would all say the same thing, unless it was a problem. Nonetheless it's supposed to be the best golf game by far.

It has its quirks......but I don't see where the putting it such a huge issue. I've got my swing down pretty well, already.

Oh...and I saw ya on "live" rockin TMNT. haha! I got almost half the achievement points already. I love it.

They better release a TMNT picture pack, cuz I wanna rock it.

Yeah man! I was a bit disappointed that some of the levels are missing though. A few things have been changed, but it's still cool!

Yeah....I was thinking the same thing, but its still fun enough to be worth it.

Did ya hear that some German source supposedly confirmed that Microsoft is doing a price drop in May, getting rid of the Core system, and releasing a new/upgraded 360 (color black) with HDMI and a 120GB HDD.

I still say rumor....but this same rumor has now been floating for several months now, so it should be interesting. Peter Moore said that Microsoft had some big news coming...
