CM Sportcenter ("The Spot" for sports)

Post by Neil »

Ok....perhaps this could be easier to drop any sports talk into one thread. I did this because I couldn't seem to find the perfect "thread" to post my thoughts on the Super Bowl.

So.....does anybody else feel as though Payton Manning completely did not deserve the Super Bowl MVP award? Completely political move by the NFL, if you ask me. They wanted to shut up the critics and get the media off Payton's back.

Addai or Rhodes, or co-mvp, deserved it. The colts running game looked fantastic.

Grossman totally blew it for the Bears; hands down. Not only did the Bears defense NOT shine......Grossman made his mistakes at the most awful of times.

I'm glad the Colts won, but I'm not happy with Manning winning MVP.

There are other sweet-ass sports besides hockey.

And nascar isn't a sport. I think professional video gaming is more a sport than nassss-car.

I';,m fuckkding pissed offf thats thegj Oielrrs tradeds Ryan Smythe to thres Islanderds. Asa Oilers fanf, thar stung hards man. GEt rid of fuckeing kevin lowe as gm, dumb fucking tawt if a gm he his. Liek, why the fcuk get rid of your best plaeyer wehn you get nohting in return. Twos propescts and a frist rounds draft pciks? Still not enoguht in my opinonion. The sad thinbgs about is thart Ryan smyth is one ofs that hardest rworking players i ni the nhl ands hes defintiely worth the 5.5 mill a year.A mere twos hundered thogusand dollars kepts hime outta edmonton. But I believe that he wanteds out and I Dont blames him. Aftetr twelve years, I;d wantst to plays for a team thatrs has a vhancee of winning as well. Thoughd, the oiler fan in me wsihes that he'll re=sigh with edmonton when ehhe becoemsa a free agent in july. But I doubt thast he'll re sign. Why sign to a team that is aplauing so badly uyou know? My only complaint about hiems being tradeded is athat I wish s that he wouldsaa been trades ti a Canadaian team, not that thers anbything wrongs with the Isleas. Peronally, I wish he couldas went to the Senatotors, who nhappen to be my favor ite team in the leagues right now.

Heatly, Alfredson and Smyth for the win.

oh yeah, Simon should be suspejded for the rest of the season.

Simon deserves the suspension; bastard.

Sucks if the Islanders don't make the playoffs; his suspension carries over into next season.
