I love that song! And Raine would sing that song wonderfully.

Superman's Dead starts off pretty similar to Wonderwall. I don't know the fancy-pants guitar lingo, but play SD without any production and possibly lower on the fret board and it might be close enough to consider aping.

Funny you should say that, i'm listening to Wonderwall right now.
I will agree with that to an extent...but they're a bit of a different key - Superman's Dead is more of a depressed key whereas Wonderwall is more of an ... well, the word escapes me right now. But it's not as depressed, but it's not quite hopeful...I dunno.

no way. the chord might be the same/similar (i can sort of hear it in my head) but the way it's played in the two different intros always gives it away.

Goodbye you liar,
Well you sipped from the cup but you don't own up to anything
Then you think you will inspire
Take apart your head
(and I wish I could inspire)
Take apart your demons, then you add it to the list.

Ok, I know nothing about music (the technical stuff) but I always wondered if you could play the guitar part from the bridge in Third Eye Blind's "Jumper" under the second verse of "Clumsy" and if anyone would notice. I like the little track Turner plays under it but I always think of "Jumper" when I hear it...

You know I haven't listened to OLP in so long I can't remember what song it is, but there is an older one that sounds exactly like Foo Fighter's February to me.

Vampires= This could be love from Alkaline trio.

I've been saying that since I first heard it.
Just listen to the opening guitar parts. They are practically identical.

Ehehe, thanks. Funny story...I had to return the hat to Hot Topic so I'd have gas $ to get to the Montreal show last year.

Smashing pumpkins "blew away" apparently sounds a lot like Are you sad...

According to pumpkins fans at least
I can't wait until the day schools are over-funded and the military is forced to hold bake sales to buy planes.
