I wasn't a fan at first. But she grew on me. Now I'm rabid

She's too bland for me to listen to and be a fan of.

I've also heard she's screechy and whiny and annoying. But I still adore her.

MuchMoreMusic will premier Chantal's new video for "All I Can Do" TODAY! There's going to be the "making of music video" special thingy today at 4 30pm PT and 7 30pm ET (that's in 30 minutes), and following that show they are obviously going to premier the video.
the director who's doing "All I Can Do" is the same guy who did OLP's "Where Are You" and "Angels/Losing/Sleep"....
Chantal's new album will be called Ghost Stories and will be released August 29th.
edit:
Chantal is wearing mostly her own clothes in the video. she talked a bit about clothing in videos today and how she respects Sinead (O'Connor) and Sarah McLachlan because they keep their clothes on and manage to be feminine and blah blah blah. she talks about clothing and videos in general.
There's a lot of talk about Raine.. its quite amusing
Chantal: "Raine is absolutely totally gorgeous. I still freak out sometimes. And now I can see him through my sons. He's a very sweet husband."
There was some footage of Chantal and Raine from their trip to Iraq and some other footage of them working together in studio, him playing guitar and her singing/playing the piano.
Chantal talked about the usual Kelly Clarkson/Avril Lavigne stuff as well as writing "Rich Girl" (the Gwen Stefani song). apparently, the part she wrote in the song was the hooky part in the beginning (na na na na na naaaa, etc). she wrote it 'cause apparently she had a producer friend who was working with Gwen or something like that? i didn't listen to closely.
the video was alright, kind of like any other Chantal video, but she's pretty in it and i really like the song now.
I really enjoyed the special and this is coming from someone who hates most music videos, even from artists I love.
hhmm... trying to see if I can remember anything missed above.
-she said the "na na na na" part of the Gwen Stefani song was the first thing her son ever sang (I think the video was on tv and he was dancing and singing along)
-All I Can Do was directed by the guy who did the two most recent OLP videos
-she did talk about Raine quite a bit... it was funny
-they have playdates with Kate Hudson
<I><B>"I know this sounds corny, and I might be a little bit drunk, but honest to god, thank you everybody"</B></I>
So has anyone ripped it yet and uploaded it to the hub?
*pest*

I don't know if anyone else has posted this (I looked but couldn't find it)
BUT..Raine Maida is opening for Chantal in Mississauga on Nov 18 at the Living Arts Centre!
I got tickets today and I am SO pumped to see these two together
I saw her new video. I was sort of expecting something better. I thought the song was really good but the video is kind of bland. Nothing really happens in it....eh.
