Jeff Mangum is back!

This thread has no real point but to serve as an outlet for the fact that my idol, Jeff Mangum from Neutral Milk Hotel, is recording music again!

My God, this is seriously one of the happiest moments of my musical life. Ahhhhh.

I always knew he would come back around. He worshiped Scott Walker, who disappeared for ten years before coming out with "Tilt" which everyone raved about. Well, "In The Aeroplane Over The Sea" came out in 1997, and he is recording again.

My life is almost complete!

But didn't he release music as the Fire Theft or something? I mean, if he did, then that's not much news, considering someone like Jeff Mangum has been seen live maybe five times since 1998.

I was just in Chicago. :O
