Hey, I'm the one who made a scene and got kicked out :P I'm not embarrassed, so you shouldn't be either! Haha.

That stupid bitch of a meet and greet director deserved it.

you made a scene?

See, after we were done, Jamie (my BF) just started walking towards the "exit", so I followed him (my brain not being at full power...) and they led us out.

So, I must have missed it. I remember the other Nikki saying something about how since we couldn't do much at that meet and greet that "some memory this will make" (obviously sarcastically) did that kind of kick it off?

Yeah, that woman in the blue shirt with WAY too much eye makeup? I have seen her before, and I just can't place her. But I agree... they are seriously power tripping. Just before the MnG, Jamie asked her if we were allowed digital cameras and she said "No". When asked why, she said "Band policy"

Then Christine started taking pics with her digital, and that same girl came up to us and said "yeah, it's ok to use your digital now"

But, please, tell me the story of you getting kicked out!! :D

That's absolute bullshit. The band doesn't care if we take pictures. That was venue shit.

Well we were trying to get them on video saying something (not gonna say what), and they'd agreed to do it, so me and Nikki were all set to record it, and it was Christine's turn and that's what she wanted to do for her turn. The woman gets up in Nikki's camera while she's recording and says that we need to leave, we've already had our turn. We were like "But it's Christine's turn and that's what she wants" and the woman goes "She doesn't want a picture." Nikki said "No, she wants them to say something on video and they agreed." And the bitch goes "THEY SAID NO, NOW GET OUT."

So I turned around and said very loudly, "Bitch!" The security guard looked at me and was like "You can leave now!" And Nikki said something to him and I turned around to walk out and I looked over at him and he's like "Your friend called her a bitch, you can all leave now."

I was like "yeah, because I was already walking out."

They were such assholes. They definitely don't know how to treat people. I fucking hate people like that.

WOW.

Seriously...

Ok, the band agreed to it, and the woman told you they said no? HA! How does that work?

I really hope that at least one of the band comes on here and reads some of the stuff posted here.

I wonder what they thought of everyone getting kicked out?

Oh, just out of curiosity, what room number was everyone at the Metro?

I ended up at Room #1211

They "upgraded" me to a "luxury" room. They really like to loosly throw those terms around, don't they?

I don't know if they were paying any attention.

I hope they saw it, but we wish they'd at least spoken up or something, because that's a really shitty way to treat the fans, especially the ones who'd just spent more than $500 to be there for the show. *cough*

Anyway, HERE ARE MY EDGEFEST PICTURES OF OLP!!!

...They came out kinda crappy because it was getting dark out and my camera was getting low on power.

i had my camera in my purse the whole time , but once i called this security guard over and i said to him, i came all the way from NB, may i please just take ONE picture then i'll put it away again?
and he was like GIVE ME YOUR BATTERIES RIGHT NOW!!! and i was like but im not taking pictures, i just asked! and he snatched my camera and took my batteries.....THEN he turned to my friend and was like let me see your camera! (luckily she told him she didnt bring one...otherwise that jerk would have taken her batteries too!!)

our batteries got snatched 1 song before Raine said to take as many pics as we wanted. Luckily I still had my 2 disposable cameras with me. :)

Thats when you tell 'em to fuck off.

I encouintered a camara nazis once. He was taking battaries away from people, but he didnt take mine away. That was probably because I was twice the size of him. So maybe he was scared.

But yeah, thats when you tell those fuckers to fuck right off.

We probably would have put up more of a fuss if it was our rechargables... but they weren't.

I should have went over to the guy and got them back after Raine said to take pics.

I wonder if there is a place to file complaints?

(sorry for the separate post)

Never give your battaries up at shows like that. Especially to guards like that. Its not like they'll pull you out of the crowd or anything.

I might shoot off a line to the Edge.
Not that it will make much of a difference but you know.

Hey double-posting is a way of life around here :D

Yeah, after Raine said to take as many pictures as you want (you're welcome *wink*) you should have told them you want your camera/batteries back and they would have had to give them back.

wow... was I even NEAR anyone else? (as requested)

I'm by no means complaining about the room... it was nice, but according to the posted price on the back of the door, the room was "worth" $450 / night.

I thought that the $153 that *I* paid was a little steep for what it was. Don't get me wrong, the bed was comfy, and the shower was clean... but $450???

I pity the person who actually pays that.

There were a couple guys from here on the 11th floor - Tom (locobone) and Chris (Eric? Oh lord I've forgotten names already) were up there.

Most of us were on the 6th floor, Nikki was on the 12th.

Yea I thought the room prices were steep for what we got as far as ammenities.

I just had one bed there wasn't a couch or anything like I was expecting.
No free breakfast bar, not even a newspaper.

I guess it's all about location with it being right downtown and right next to city hall and shopping and all.

What kinda pissed me off when I checked in was that I asked where the rest of my group was staying and they wouldn't tell me unless I knew their full names.

They couldn't even tell me who the basket was from.
Oh speaking of the basket ...

I'm a guy and all and i'm not supoosed to get all giddy over a fruit/gift basket but Christine (I belive I was told is the one who did them) did a great job on them.

Thanks!

Once Raine said that we all turned to the 2 security guards who had been harassing us and told them to F-off! That was fun :D

This guy wasn't happy... this is right after we screamed at him:

It's ok to be giddy if you're a guy!

Yes, thank you Christine! I think I may have already told you that at the meet and greet, but I can't remember!
